I've eaten at "Il Molo" with 3 friends and we had a wonderful experience. We ate delicious fish starters and rhombus as main dish. The quality was excellent, the service quick and attentious. The wine list offers a good variety of wines: we had two bottles of Vermentino! The tiramisù was good and at the end of the meal they... More

It was really great and fresh seafood. Also I like the ambience of this restaurant. I'll be back later. 해산물 파스타가 먹고싶어서 갔는데 대만족 이었어요 해산물도 신선했고 풍미가 정말 좋았어요 분위기도 조용하고 안락한 느낌

We went here with my boyfriend on our last night in Rome after reading good reviews on line. The sea food was fresh and tasted amazing. We had the muscles and shrimp to start, sea bass and mixed grill for main. The waiter we had was very attentive and friendly. Would definitely go again.

Fantastic staff and food to die for ... We shared a "house special" amazing selection of seafood followed by mixed fish.... Beautiful !! They brought out a complimentary desert wine and biscotti which topped off the meal beautifully .. 5 stars well deserved and they gave us 20% off because we booked online ... Highly recommend !!

Tried this place after a recommendation from a work colleague who lives in Rome. I absolutely loved it, great location close to the main station and provides the chance to sit outside if the weather is good. The menu is extensive with a good choice of fish and pasta. I went for the mixed fish appetiser to start. Warning the... More

Went in August so it was not very full. We had pasta with sea bass and some egg noodles with seafood, both were very good. Would go again.

Nice dinner with pasta and house wine. Overall not that expensive roughly €35 for two people. Bread served along with a brusetta for free (which was a nice touch)! Sitting outside was great with the plants surrounding the road was a perfect. Nice for our first night in Rome. If you are in the area would recommend this place as... More

Excellent food and lots of it. Very good menu in several languages. Sea food is fantastic. Lots of locals eating there which is always a good sign. Staff were really friendly. Only downside is the cars just the other side of the wall if you eat outside. I had the seafood risotto which was amazing and my partner had the... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
