Good old fashioned Italian restaurant. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great taste, generous servings, unpretentious. Great value for money. Stayed in Rome for 4 days and ate there 2 nights in a row. Will do so again when we next visit Rome.

A real treat. The choice of seafood was amazing. The mixed food starter had 8-9 different types of fish and shellfish including oysters and ceviche . The mains were a manageable size and very tasty. We were also treated to bruschetta as an amuse bouche and home made biscotti with grappa and myrtle liqueur complementary. The service was attentive and... More

By the quiet street we lived on, on the first evening we popped into this nice seafood restaurant. The service was very friendly, mains were medium priced and very tasty. Delicious desserts and complimentary limoncello & myrta.

We had a pleasant lunch here on Saturday. The restaurant has a nice decor and was full of local people which I thought was a good sign. The food was great, we had mostly seafood dishes and they all tasted excellent. This is not a fast lunch place, waiters were friendly but busy due to many people and we, like... More

We had dinner here on one of our nights as we stayed close by. The seafood risotto was the best we have tasted and the mussels antipasto is extremely fresh. We did not order dessert because there is a Gelato shop round the corner however the staff offered us some complimentary biscuit and vodka(I think) to round up. The staffs... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
