Fantastic staff and food to die for ... We shared a "house special" amazing selection of seafood followed by mixed fish.... Beautiful !! They brought out a complimentary desert wine and biscotti which topped off the meal beautifully .. 5 stars well deserved and they gave us 20% off because we booked online ... Highly recommend !!

Tried this place after a recommendation from a work colleague who lives in Rome. I absolutely loved it, great location close to the main station and provides the chance to sit outside if the weather is good. The menu is extensive with a good choice of fish and pasta. I went for the mixed fish appetiser to start. Warning the... More

Went in August so it was not very full. We had pasta with sea bass and some egg noodles with seafood, both were very good. Would go again.

Nice dinner with pasta and house wine. Overall not that expensive roughly €35 for two people. Bread served along with a brusetta for free (which was a nice touch)! Sitting outside was great with the plants surrounding the road was a perfect. Nice for our first night in Rome. If you are in the area would recommend this place as... More

Excellent food and lots of it. Very good menu in several languages. Sea food is fantastic. Lots of locals eating there which is always a good sign. Staff were really friendly. Only downside is the cars just the other side of the wall if you eat outside. I had the seafood risotto which was amazing and my partner had the... More

Good old fashioned Italian restaurant. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great taste, generous servings, unpretentious. Great value for money. Stayed in Rome for 4 days and ate there 2 nights in a row. Will do so again when we next visit Rome.

Thank Evelyn L

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
