Pretty hard to find. Was recommended by italian tour guides. The offer is not very diverse. But the food is very good. Prices are very reasonable for Rome...

My husband, another couple and I were wondering around Monti with an intent to eat at a particular restaurant we had read about. As we meandered on the local back streets of the neighborhood we saw that our original choice was closed, but stumbled upon this small, local gem with the most delicious food and friendly staff. By the time... More

We found this place based on the recommendation of our AirBNB host and were quite pleased. As he put it its a typical Italian Taverna with wonderful food. The food and wine were wonderful and the staff was very friendly and provided great suggestions. Very grateful they got us a table. Highly recommend you book as its a small place... More

Small cozy place not far from Colosseum and forums but not a tipical tourists place. Food very good, tipical romans dishes. Also visited by locals, not many tables and always crowded: better reserve if you go in rush our!

We were recommended to this little gem by a tour guide. Great honest, fresh, traditional Italian food. I loved the broccoli and pasta soup washed gown with a house wine for lunch. Pasta also delicious. Very little English but that added to the warm and friendly service.

Everything pleased our family of four: great pasta, delicious meatballs, good house wine. Perfect for a lunch after a morning's sightseeing (just near the Colosseum and Forum). Lovely friendly staff.

Been here with the family (kids + grandmother) Simply loved it All pasta made fresh The carbonara was great The ragu fetuchine turned out to be a huge success having the kids leave their plates empty Service was kind and helpful (despite semi-English skills). However, few of our mains got delayed for quite some time. They actually came out only... More

Quality, homy meal, friendly staff, old school vibe. Had had meal there three times in two days until refused to be given a table (restaurant half-full) for one person in rush-hour.. This is how greed makes you lose regular customers.
