So good we ate here twice. Get here early and call ahead if you can. Full of locals both meals. Fresh simple ingredients prepared like your Grand Ma was in the kitchen. Walking distance from Colosseum, arround the corner from our Hotel Nerva, excellent.

We stopped at Taverna Romano for lunch and sat elbow to elbow with other diners. The staff was friendly and the pasta was delicious. We would enjoy the opportunity to eat here again.

We bumped into this place by chance, just before the opening time. As soon as the restaurant opened it got full in no time, and a long queue of people waiting built outside at lunchtime. We were 11, with 4 kids and ordered basically almost...More

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just
west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as
it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet
for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season,
quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its
cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique
and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime
residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at
