If you want to try some traditional dishes as they were intended this is the place. Great service and quaint atmosphere included.

This restaurant is on a picturesque street in the Monti district. We went for lunch and had a fantastic meal. The food was fresh and well-prepared; the oxtail stew was to die for! Prices were reasonable and the service was great.

We were directed to this place by the front desk after another place is fully booked. We walk in at nearly 8pm luckily there's a seat just for my son and myself. I asked for penne but the waitress said they don't have and suggested another tubular pasta which I forgot the name. We had that with cabonara. I ordered... More

We were staying in the Monti neighborhood and came upon this restaurant walking back to our hotel. The cacio de pepper was very good as well as a red sauce pasta dish my son ordered ( forgot the name). The young waitress completely forgot to bring my daughter's lunch. The atmosphere is authentic Italy and the A/C unit which must... More

During the day it looked like like a nice restaurant but when I stepped in at 2.45pm Saturday I was told there closing. Ok I came back at night today (summer) the place was full and hot. Only one ACC door open, small table and a very strong lamp just above our heads. I asked the waitress to try with... More

I liked that this place was a bit off the tourist path, bit not much. At least the street it is on feels authentic. I will agree with others that the tables are packed tight, making it hard to have a quiet conversation with those you are with and even harder to ignore the insipid conversation at the table next... Tiny little taverna serving favourite italian dishes. There was nothing wrong with the food but you could enjoy same quality Spaghetti Carbonara and Tagliatelli Ragu at just about every restaurant. Nothing wow about the place so I cannot really recommend it. The house wine comes out of a box and was so so. Very cramped and tables sqeezed into small... More

Incredible food. Lamb, Meat balls, Pasta - all was excellent and well priced. IF I go back to Rome I will eat here again. Well done!

Excellent food and service here but the place is small, as to be expected in Rome but we felt that there were too many tables in the restaurant. My partner was on the aisle and got knocked everytime somebody walked past. Everything else was faultless if a little cramped.

This place was recommended by our BnB host. It was nearby and has great prices. We made reservations for dinner (recommended for a Saturday night). The food was yummy and the service was lovely. Surrounded by families enjoying food and time together.
