We enjoyed lovely desserts and drinks. The kitchen was closed so we didn't have dinner. I became sick from sitting in a cloud of cigarette smoke. It was quite disgusting. But the greenery was picturesque and the neighborhood was cool, lots of street art.

We were so entertained by the history of the neighbourhood - Pigneto - and its previous working class status. The fact that Pasolini filmed here for his feature Accattone really twerked our imagination when visiting. Nevertheless, the food surpasses any fiction. We skipped the last course but everything seems to be highly recommendable. We ordered a first dish of tartar... More

This restaurant is in a very interesting area of Rome - it was a bit hard to find, via public transport, but we made it! It has great pictures on the wall, including a cartoon of the Pope, with a totally un-touristy menu and excellent wine. Loved the atmosphere and the terrific music being played. Loved our food - fish... More

Necci is a legendary restaurant situated in the outskirts of Rome. The place became a favourite of director Pier Paolo Pasolini and legend has it this was the last place he ate before his murder. It is out tourist path so you will not meet very many tourists. There is a big garden where it is very pleasant to sit.... More

The past vew days we visited Necci very often during our CityTrip to Rome. Necci was located just 100m from our apartment, perfect! The espresso & cappuccino were the best we ever had! Breakfast - not so healthy - AMAZING! Absolutely loved the cheesecake, lemon meringue cake and cornetti. In the evening we really enjoyed the wine, cocktails & food.... More

Gosh, we had read a lot about this place. Wanted something different and cool, us being 'different and cool' ourselves. the service was NONEXISTENT! it was truly bad. Also, probably not their fault but there was 3 power cuts in 1.5 hours. It took 50 minutes to get out first drink. If it wassnt so far out of the city we... More
