The menu was written in Italian and although we were in the suburbs of Rome (Garbatella), the food was better than what we had in the city centre. Natalia, our server was so attentive and went through each item one by one with explanation. Service was impeccable and the food was simple and unadulterated. I would recommend this to anyone... Osteria dei Pazzi is a puzzling adventure. Garbatella is an old rione in Roma, where traditions and future are going to create a new equilibrium. The presence of a place such as Osteria dei Pazzi is an example of this trend bringing Garbatella from the past (the tradition) to a modern sense of fine dining. Very nice space, warm reception,... Nice place, the atmosphere is very friendly and I noticed a great attention to detail. The menu is innovative with a wide choice of tasteful meals. I recommend the carbonara with tartufo (truffle), hard to find anywhere else. Something to note, in that area is pretty hard to find a parking for the car so get there some time in... More

Walked upon this place. Walked in. Was solo so can feel strange in a restaurant alone. The staff where very welcoming with smiles. Seated me to a nice table. The menu is in italian as you would expect. The waiter helped me out and recommended 2 nice meals. One was a cold starter with asparagus ice cream and red meat.... More

Osteria dei Pazzi has a very innovative menu, primarily of seafood-based dishes. The food is excellent too. The service is very welcoming and the prices are very reasonable. It's definitely worth a visit.

A delightful restaurant smack in middle of Garbatella. The food was very tasteful and refined. Highly recommend the tuna steak with sesame and ginger. The service was impeccable and the decor very original. Will definitely go back soon

The atmosphere alone was reason to love this place, devoid of tourists. Plus, the inside of the restaurant is really nicely decorated. Our server was excellent, that really had good instinct on when to come back to the table to address needs and take plates. The food was also just amazing. For antipasti, we were told to try the artichoke flans,... More

In one of the oldest building on the heart of Garbatella, this cozy restaurant on two levels, for 60 guests, offers a gourmet mediterranean cooking based on fresh fish and a traditional roman one revisited with new cooking technics and fantasy but not forgetting storical roots... The wine list is the result of a territorial research from nord to south and proposes a good vineries choise with a particular attention on biological and natural agricolture (from Gravner, Radikon and Bressan to Dettori, de Bartoli and Cascina Baricchi).
