A great restaurant near Circus Maximus but away from the thick of the tourist crowds, this restaurant exceeded expectations.
With plenty of seating, we were able to dine without a reservation (although reservations are possible). The drinks are affordable, but are excellent.
An affordable menu with pub fare, everything we ordered was well-prepared and tasty.
The highlight of the restaurant was our server, Leonardo. Born and raised in Rome, Leonardo was quick to make recommendations of places we should see in the city and places that our kids would enjoy. When asked, he also told us some other great places to eat and get gelato. He was super attentive and kind to our family and made our first day in Rome very special. Natalie was another server and she was just as kind and checked on us often as well. The two made a great team working the entire crowd. It was impressive.
We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant and recommend it to anyone looking for good food and strong drinks at an affordable price.

We ate at Zerosettantacinque on a hot Roman day visiting the ancient attractions. The servers were very attentive and provided excellent knowledge of the menu. My family had a variety of dishes and each were outstanding. Additionally, the atmosphere was great and the location across from the Circus Maximus was ideal. Try the kabobs (more of a wrap in the US). It was the best I have ever had!

Ate here twice, the food is simple but top notch, the waiting staff speak perfect English and are always happy to help and it's reasonably priced. Traffic is a bit busy but is all part of being in Rome. And the Mojitos, mmm...

Made a booking for two this evening as it was close by and well reviewed. What a disappointment, we arrived early and took a seat inside. The hostess gave us the menu and that was it, she never came back to us. She cleared dishes from tables near us, but I couldn't get her attention, it was like we were invisible. So I can't comment on the food, the menu wasn't great, but again maybe if we got good I may have been pleasantly surprised.

Needed a place to use the facilities and grab a quick drink. This place had the best breeze on a hot day so we picked it. The prices were very good compared to other Rome restaurants and the appetizers we had were delicious. We will most likely be back for dinner while here!

the meal was excellent and I ate it all it 5 minutes because it was so good, the aura of the place it stupidly good and I wish I could go again but I am destined to die in two dies. Hopefully I will be excepted into heaven for eating at that restaurant and giving this review. I hope pope Francis eats at this place and relies that this place should be pleased by the gods and may it be their place to eat forever more.

I went to Zerosettantacinque for New Year's Eve with my girlfriend and other friends, and the experience was exceptional.
Dinner was a fixed menu, €70 for 2 starters, first course, second course and desserts. Included in the price, a welcome glass of bubbles, and another for midnight. The choice of simple dishes but prepared with the highest quality raw materials is a winning one. Generous portions.
The selection of wines is wide and well curated. The cocktails are really excellent. The staff, led by Alessandro, demonstrated great professionalism. In particular, Matteo served us impeccably during dinner.
After dinner there was a DJ set. The music was perfect for the evening, so much so that we stayed dancing until 6 in the morning.
Overall, an unforgettable evening in a welcoming and well-run environment.
For those who don't know what to do next New Year's Eve, this place is highly recommended!

Wow just stumbled across this lovely bar in the back streets. Very quaint, clean and organised. Menu is modern with a few traditional just what we missed having spent a week eating noting but pasta and pizza. Beer first class not the norm but better.

zerosettantacinque remains a magical place! Pleasant background music, characteristic atmosphere and excellent cuisine. last night dinner at 11.15pm after the show at the Quirino. The girls I knew were absent, we were welcomed by very kind and professional guys. We start with nachos with guacamole, then the vegan burger that I always get, excellent. To drink an extraordinary traminer from the Bolzano cellar. to conclude, millefeuille with berries and millefeuille with chocolate.
Clean bathroom, with soap and air to dry your hands. There are only two bathrooms, one for the gentlemen and one for the ladies, but more would be needed given the enormous influx of customers. Even after midnight the place was packed, a sign that many people appreciate it. I don't know how they select the clientele, but every time I only find happy, polite people who just want to have fun with peace of mind.
I asked to take away some bread and some potatoes and some wine, they kindly provided me with plastic trays and a bag. I have attended hospitals in Ivory Coast, Pakistan, Kenya and Romania and I don't want even a crumb of food to be thrown away.
The prices are average, in any case it is money well spent.
We will definitely be back, after the theater or even independently.
Well done everyone, keep it up....I see that in addition to selecting the customers they also select the staff, they are all pleasant people.

We were in the area to see a show at the Circus Maximus so we searched and found a nice place to eat. This restaurant/pub immediately caught our attention and we decided to give it a try. After arriving, without a reservation, we were seated inside in the main hall and from the menu we decided to share the Ascolane Olives, the Chicken Nuggets, the Vegetable Fillo Pastry Rolls, and the Breaded Gouda Cheese Bites. I then ordered the Pork Shank with Crispers. All accompanied by a Lagunitas IPA beer. The fried appetizers were good and a really good accompaniment while waiting for the main courses. The shank was very soft!! Cooked very well and really pleasant to taste. Truly incredible quality. A compliment goes to the dining room staff, who are quick, attentive and friendly, and to the chefs who created the dishes. Congratulations to everyone, indeed!

This restaurant gave us one of our most unforgettable experiences in Rome - perhaps an oversight or an accident but we ordered a pepperoni pizza and somehow, the chef "forgot" all the meat.
We were served a cheese pizza.
Credit to the waitress that served us as she quickly recalled that is not what we ordered. However, their solution was a little surprising, we were given the meat on a separate plate to "DIY" our pizza.
The rating reflects the overall experience - if we were rating the waitress in isolation, would be scoring much higher.
The pizza was ok and a little different - very hard to compare fairly against other pizzas ...

Good place for a drink but if you’re looking for above average food, keep walking. Staff is friendly and the place was clean but the food left A LOT to be desired. If you’re from out of town and want good or authentic food, do not eat here.

i really like this bar near Circo Massimo and the Colluseum. the staff are friendly, there is indoor and outdoor seating, it is not too expensive and it always seems to be open and serving food. The food is varied but especially good for burgers and pizzas. and a nice selection of beers.

Brilliant little bar, staff are hard working and so friendly. Stopped in here for a quick drink to get out of the sun and ended up staying 2hours enjoying a few bowls of fries and great drinks and brilliant music. The food that went by for other customers looked amazing.

We came to have a chopp and we had several choices. Luigi, the waiter who welcomed us, even gave tips on both appetizers and beers to the personal taste of each. Nice place, most tables on the inside have high chairs but we didn't find it uncomfortable. Very good!
