This place is absolutely terrible and should be avoided by all but especially tourist. Service was good but the food was a joke! The food they show on the menu is not the food they serve. I come from an Italian family and have eaten Italian food my entire life and the stuff they serve is a poor representation of... More

My husband and I had just arrived in Rome only hours earlier and thankfully had already eaten somewhere else really decent and reasonable. We were taking a stroll around the area trying to take it all in, I was quite overwhelmed by the crowds and people trying to sell you this or sign you up for that including the 'jigalo'... More

Overpriced, their "calzone" is a pizza that they just fold in half and charge 1 euro more. Service was awful!! Terrible experience! Please avoid!!

Beautiful sunny October afternoon. Chef OJ has made our lunch a memorable experience. The food was wonderful and tasty and service impeccable which is a rare thing in Rome. Try the grandma pie!

We didn't have any issues here like some of the other reviews. The service was good as was our food. Nice and clean restroom (ladies) too.

A morning of heavy thundery rain sat underneath an outside shelter in front of the cafe. Was greeted by a friendly waiter, who uplifted our spirits and served up a breakfast to our tastes. The location is good for a short walk towards the Vatican, and onward journeys to other attractions. Note. the waiter was Canadian.

Seriously, I'm not kidding: 1) horrific food 2) overcharged 3) incredibly rude and incompetent wait staff that would rip you off in a minute Plus, the waitress and waiter were arguing and literally f-bombing each other in front of customers. Wow, literally the worst place known to mankind.

Staying in Vatican / Borgo

Neighborhood Profile
Vatican / Borgo
Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighborhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighborhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.
