Having just arrived in Rome this was our first meal. We just wondered the streets and found this randomly. It had high expectations given the awards and reviews. The decor was nice, service very friendly. We shared an entree but found it too salty. Wife had salmon for main and was satisfied, I had tagliatelle with basic sauce of to... More

I'm writing this from home so I don't have all the details but we all loved our dinner at Al Duello. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient but not overly so. The atmosphere in the restaurant was quiet without being stuffy and there aren't a ton of tourists tramping by. It feels as if you're eating... More

So I will admit that after reading some of the mixed reviews here I almost canceled our reservation. However, we decided to go and I am so so glad we did. What seems to be clear is that this restaurant is amazing, yet it depends on what you are looking for that will decide if you enjoy your time. Here... More

We have been coming to Rome for several years. A friend recommended the place and I can say without a doubt this is the best meal we have had in Rome in six trips. The restaurant was closed when we arrived but the waitress opened the door and asked us to wait 5 minutes. We could see the staff was... More

We went here on our last night in Italy. It was one of the best meals we had during our 2 week vacation. The service is outstanding and the food was delicious. The beef carpaccio was so tender and with the artichokes a perfect match. The beef tenderloin was one of the best we've ever had. A perfect little hidden... More

I just learned this restaurant has new owners. I have eaten here several times from the first year they opened and had another great meal last night. The new owners have changed the menu quite a bit but asking for the chefs record is always the best. I had the lamb and my friend had the Sea Bass. Both were... More

Came here with friends for late dinner. We took the €25 four course meal. Everything was served real elegant but we didn't like the food very much. After visiting Al Duello we all decided the we prefer a less decorative food which is simpler and tastes better
