Best pasta I've had during my week in Italy, really goo menu. The staff were also exceptional; friendly, welcoming and professional.

Nice meal at Marco G. Worth a visit if you're in Trastevere and looking for authentic homemade food. The tiramisu was great.

Was there few days ago with my wife and 2 friends. The food was delicious. I had the salmon with a crust and my wife had the pasta pesto which was also very good and fresh. We drank a rose Christina wine and enjoyed every minute of the dinner on the terrace. Price is certainly ok, a must visit !!!!

Having read all the good reviews and with this very close we tried it for dinner. Very nice staff. Maybe we chose the wrong meals. Steak with rosemary was not very good, the fish in a zucchini crust was ok. The roasted potatoes seemed only boiled. With water and one glass of wine, it was 45 EU. Not good value... More

Our last night in Rome and a wonderful find away from the crowds, secluded and darling. We love this place! The service great, the food super delicious! We chose the tasting menu for two and loved every bite! The Antipasti, the pasta and dessert was so freah and made with love!

Don't usually write reviews but this restaurant is definitely worth writing about. The food was outstanding and the service so friendly and professional. Suggest the pumpkin ravioli and or truffle oil with sausage pasta both meals delicious, we were humming with happiness the whole time. Yum yum YUM

We walked up and down the street several times and we are so glad we picked this spot! The food and service is top notch! Everything about this place is fantastic. The bread, wine, ambiance, pumpkin ravioli, sea bass, Gorgonzola bruschetta. All of it! It's a must try! Very reasonably priced as well!

We went for a lovely romantic meal al fresco here whilst visiting Rome. The service was very friendly and the waiters spoke good English. The food was beautiful, steak cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend.

This is our favorite restaurant to eat in whenever we go to Rome. Just this past week my husband and I were in Rome for 4 nights and ate at Marco G's for two of them! The meat and cheese platter is amazing (especially the smoked mozzarella and the ricotta) and the truffle/sausage pasta is my husband's favorite dish in... More

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
