Once arrived, we were sat at a table outside, as it was a lovely warm summer evening. the restaurant was buzzy and very lively.... More

We came across Marco G after getting a bit lost, the plus being it is away from the crowds and really friendly, efficient staff made it go from a "ok we will try it" to a "what a great find." We shared zucchini flowers with cheese and anchovies for an entree, then fish in potato crust and a prawn pasta... More

I did not have any plans of dining at this restaurant, in fact, I was just passing by, when their gorgeous Italian waiter asked me if I want to try their restaurant. I said yes and sat down and ordered. And my, the salmon and pasta were delicious! If I will be back in Rome again, I will make it... More

Nice meal at Marco G. Worth a visit if you're in Trastevere and looking for authentic homemade food. The tiramisu was great.

Was there few days ago with my wife and 2 friends. The food was delicious. I had the salmon with a crust and my wife had the pasta pesto which was also very good and fresh. We drank a rose Christina wine and enjoyed every minute of the dinner on the terrace. Price is certainly ok, a must visit !!!!

Having read all the good reviews and with this very close we tried it for dinner. Very nice staff. Maybe we chose the wrong meals. Steak with rosemary was not very good, the fish in a zucchini crust was ok. The roasted potatoes seemed only boiled. With water and one glass of wine, it was 45 EU. Not good value... More

Our last night in Rome and a wonderful find away from the crowds, secluded and darling. We love this place! The service great, the food super delicious! We chose the tasting menu for two and loved every bite! The Antipasti, the pasta and dessert was so freah and made with love!

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
