The waitress asked us we are we from, and we answered Romania. When she heard the answer she started laughing and said she doesn't like romanians. The waiting time was very long even between courses, and i need to mention that they had just two tables in the restaurant all the food very salty. The table next to us got their... More

We were wandering around looking for someplace to eat and came upon this restaurant. We sat down at an outside table and ordered a half liter of house red wine while we looked at the menus. The wine arrived and at first taste it was horrible. We are not particularly fussy wine drinkers but this was sour and tasted stale.... More

Went there for lunch. We first asked the waiter recommend a wine, and he back with 36 euro and 42 euro selections, then he was a little miffed when we asked to see the wine list and picked a 16 euro bottle. We had delicious pasta and pizza then dessert, and then a second bottle of wine, so we were... More

The food was good, most importantly - but then again, this is Italy. Very helpful staff; having a couple of guys to call people from the nearby boulevards was a good idea. Special thanks to the Ukrainian waitress, having a Russian speaker was quite helpful for East Europeans like ourselves. Downside: you get offered a "special menu" that includes several... More

After a long day of being tourists in Rome, my husband and I decided to have dinner here as it was really local to our hotel and looked very sweet from the front with the lights outside etc.. Please do not make the same mistake as us and be sucked in by the pretty lights, the food is bland (and... More

Got the leaflet and decided to visit the restaurant! The food was tasteless, bland and cold! The service was non existent. There was no ambience. Dirty and grubby table linen. Best described as a tourist trap - don't fall pray to their leaflet advertising a 3 course meal for 10 Euro; once you get the bill with the service charge... More

We were also suckered in by the flyer offering a 3 course lunch for 10 euro. The salad was limp with no dressing - when my pizza arrived and for which I paid extra to have one with anchovies there were 3 ! The Italian lady at the table beside us proceeded to start laughing hysterically pointing at my pizza... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
