It makes me sad - very sad - to right this. I have been going to this restaurant for 33 years - it was a favorite - but something has happened - went about a month ago - not so good - like it had...More

We dined at Otello during our recent trip to Rome. It was recommended by a friend who suggested it because it was off the beaten path and not loaded with tourist. We were not disappointed! The food, wine, and service were all top notch!

I first visited this place in the late 1980s and several times in ensuing years, though not recently until last year: always reliable and good value. So it's great to see that it is still thriving. However my recent experience was pretty miserable. I guess...More

We loved it. The food was excellent! Just perfect. Just stay here! The garden is lovely and I can't wait to come back to Rome and eat here. Spaghetti de Otello are the best and the tiramisu is just like love. We couldn't drink wine,...More

Tradition, quality, professionalism, flavors… That’s their motto. We’re forever looking for the experience—not just fuel for the body (although there’s a time for that too). The story behind this trattoria is compelling: it has been in the Caporicci family for over 60 years. Prior to...More

This little trattoria is close to the Spanish Steps but in a little lane, so not too touristy. Service was lovely and helpful, very attentive with my young nephew who wasn't feeling well. We just had pasta and it was simply done, traditional and al...More

If you want the simple, traditional Italian meal, this place is quite nice. The prices were good, the food delicious. Worth finding this gem.

Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields
to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most
desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best
place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and
Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with
enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s
best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a
fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to
