Sometimes I enjoy wandering a city and stumbling on a new restaurant to try. Other times I refer to TripAdvisor. Whilst in Rome we came across Otello Alla Concordia and were pleasantly surprised. Lovely atmosphere and lovely food. I had the grilled sausages with chicory spinach filled by a shared assortment of desert and it was very nice. They have... More

This place is close to Piazza Spagna, but it is a little hidden, we end up there because someone recommend it to us. the food is excellent and homemade. the restaurant is not very fancy, but that is totally the intention.

Had two meals here, one was good, the other one was indifferent. But think its better in the summer, we were there a couple of years ago in the summer, it seemed flat with no more atmosphere when its only partially open in the winter.

Since my husband and I discovered this restaurant in Rime, we keep coming back and advising friends to go there. The food is really good and authentic and the place is very charming. The are located somehow close to the Piazza di Spagna, which is a pretty touristic area. However, the restaurant has one door that goes directly to a... More

After missing it a couple of times, we finally found this restaurant hidden in an alley near the Spanish Steps. It's easy to miss the alley, but well worth it when you find this restaurant. They have seating inside the restaurant as well as a "garden" patio. We had a lovely table in the outside garden patio for our family... More

Every time we have a family walk around Rome we stop for lunch at this amazing restaurant. It s a classic Roman trattoria but recently renovated its interior presenting a modern touch. Food is great and service is excellent. All local roman dishes are well prepared and presented. It's the go to place for a small pause on a busy... More

This was recommended by a local so we were very much looking forward to dining here - but food was ok / nothing spectacular, the service staff were unfriendly and not helpful about information about items on menu. I ordered the zucchini blossom which should be delicately fried - ended up with something like a hush puppy deep fried with... More

Hidden away at Via della Croce 81 (another entrance at Via Mario de’ Fiori), this place is especially busy at lunch time in the warmer months (April through October) with a charming inner garden section to the left of the Via della Croce entrance. A victim of its own success, too many tourists have discovered it, although it tries to... More

We've been to this restaurant several times while in Rome. The food is always amazing and the service is beyond great. You can easily eat a three course dinner with a bottle of wine without spending a ton of money. The restaurant offers traditional italian food and is usually very busy so if you want a table make sure to... More

Service wasn't great, but they seated us without a reservation. I had the spaghetti alla carbonara with pecorino cheese, and it was the best one I had. Really delicious.

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
