Spent 5 nights in Rome with a group of school children. This was our final night and by far our worst dinner. If you want an authentic Italian experience, go somewhere else. The lasagne was bland, the atmosphere was terrible and the waiting staff were...More

As part of a school culture trip to Rome we took 40 children for a meal. We were treated like cattle. We asked for Parmesan cheese to accompany the meal and the request was refused. Rude and patronising staff. Poor service. Awful food. Do NOT...More

We enjoyed a very nice meal while being entertained by our waiters and serenaded with Italian-American classics. Our food was quite good, the music was enjoyable, and the wait staff was very solicitous.

Very poor quality food & service coinciding with ancient ambiance ended in a terrible experience resulting in refusal to pay for food served. Followed previous reviews on here & Google only to be bitterly disappointment.

This place was recommended by our host for a quick lunch. Food was okay if you’re not the choosy type. Huge servings. Seems like this restaurant caters to tour groups as there were a couple of groups who walked in while we were eating.

We ordered the 3 set dinner. Service was great. The restaurant was full and we sat in the patio. Pasta carbonara was delicious except for few small soft bones from the ham. Bread was not amazing and no butter was served. Meat dish was ok...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
