We visited the restaurant on a whim but what an amazing decision!! Write ups were good so we took a gamble as off the beaten track but so worth going. We managed to get there before 19:00 and recommend getting there early as gets very...More
Such a fantastic place. One night we wandered in due to good reviews, waited a few minutes and sat down. Had some of the best pizza of my life and THE best rigatoni period. Service was quick, prices are AFFORDABLE and this is not a...More

We had dinner here twice during our stay in Rome not just because of its proximity to our apartment. It has a nice atmosphere, friendly staff who mostly speak English and tolerated our butchering of the Italian language, with excellent pizzas and other trattoria staples.
I was recommended by Maximo my host in Rome to visit il Tettarello. We have been here twice and we loved both times. The place is a charming Roman trattoria with a wonderful food. The tiramisu at the end was delicious!
