A family get together after the Italy V Scotland rugby match. The restaurant was fairly busy, but not full and they accepted our late booking for dinner. It took 50 minutes before they took a drinks order. The food, when it eventually arrived, was cold,...and of very poor quality. One of our party had warm chicken with a salad, and when he said it was cold, they took it away and returned it 2 minutes later, having microwaved it, lettuce and all. One of the waiting staff had no idea how to open a bottle of wine with a ‘waiters friend” corkscrew - we eventually took the bottle and corkscrew and opened it ourselves, and guess what...it was corked, although they were reluctant to accept that. They eventually brought another bottle, which was fine, and they then accepted that the first one was corked. Out of our 11 meals, only 4 were acceptable. The proprietor was seemingly resigned to the fact that things were nothing short of tragic and all we paid for were the 4 meals and our drinks. It was all very reminiscent of Fawlty Towers, with main meals appearing before we had our starters, and then being whisked back down to the kitchen in the hope we hadn’t noticed. All in all, farcical. AVOID!More

I slated this place two years ago because the standards had slipped since previous visits. I’m delighted to say it has rediscovered its form. Wide range of pasta dishes and pizzas on offer. All delicious, fresh and of generous proportions. Good choice of Italian craft...beers on offer and the draft beer is pretty good too. Excellent service from polite and friendly waiting staff. Decor has improved too. Despite its large size it has more of a restaurant than staff canteen feel to it these days. Value for money is tremendous. Six of us in on Friday just gone. Two starters for sharing, six pasta main courses and six craft beers. All for €107! Glad we gave this restaurant another chance.More

Very good, tasty, good service and fast. Prices reasonable vs others restaurants nearby. We went twice and had very good time. Highly recommended!

I dont know what kind of imoral people you are, you say its gluten free and then it doesnt result like that my mom and my sister are intolerant to gluten and they ordered a pizza today there and both of them ended in hospital....You should take responsibility of what you offer to your clients. Eorst place ever just destroyed our holidaysMore

Pasta and Social is a rare find in Rome. A restaurant with a contemporary interior design, reasonably spacious with good food and moderate prices. It was the best restaurant we visited for having an enjoyable dining experience. The servers were friendly and very presentable. It...was noticeable that when we arrived, all the other diners were chatting in Italian, so we presumed that the place is popular with locals. We ordered pasta and both enjoyed our choices (lasagna and arabiata). The house white wine was particularly palatable and good value. Our cheapest meal out and also our least expensive. Recommended.More

We were hungry, ordered two pasta, one is with seafood another with fish - they were not tasty at all, any kid could cook it better, disgusting experience, I do not know when I will eat it again, they ruined the concept of pasta for...me. Maybe they should fire their cook, or I understand nothing about pasta... so that was my experience. Pros: Fish and seafood was good nonetheless. Good service and people.More

Nice restaurant across from our hotel. Had a lunch and dinner there. Great place for a quick meal after a long day of sightseeing. The pizza and pasta we had were very good. The waitstaff is friendly and the food comes out quickly. I also...liked that when you are finished you simply go to the register and pay without waiting for the bill. I liked this place enough that i went twice when we were not in the mood for a lengthy dinner.More

My husband and I arrived in Rome hungry and looking forward to good pasta but unfortunately our first experience was at Pasta and Social. The service was excellent and fun but the food was really disappointing and very ordinary - actually tasted like canned tomatoe...soup on pasta?More
