The food was excellent and I also liked the laid back atmosphere! The portions were also very generous.

Let me begin by with my references; born an raised in Southern California specifically in the Los Angeles area where there is zero shortage of delicious food from all over the world. That being said my wife and I are crazy fans of Mexican, El Salvador, Honduras and now Peruvian food. I ordered a seafood dish which was good (fresh... More

Where to start?!? We ordered 3 mains and 1 starter/tapas to all arrive at the same time, the tapas arrived first, it was lukewarm, one of the mains arrived after a while when the plantains were already cold. After another while the second main arrived, this was a soup but again it was cold, we had to send it back... More

Our Peruvian friend took us to this restaurant near Roma Termini Station. It was everything he promised, with genuine Peruvian dishes well prepared and very reasonably priced. I selected the Seco de Cabrito. Delicious! The family requested Ceviche and Lomo Saltado. Everyone was satisfied. It is not pretentious, but a pleasant location on a tree-lined street just half a block... More

The food is very authentic Peruvian; the ceviche is absolutely classic. But my ceviche mixto was over spiced and the plate was swimming with a soupy marinade. You may not be able to get better Peruvian food in Rome, but it does get a lot better than this. Service average for a Friday night, pleasant, accommodating, friendly. Not a bad... More

We were so happy when we saw this restaurant walking distance from Casa Romana. Great food and atmosphere. If you want to taste Italian food with a latin twist, this is the place.

Great Peruvian food and very original but definitely not a cheap place even though it looks so. A must for all the Latin food lovers!

Great Peruvian restaurant...food was delicious and service was very good! I had the Seco de carne with beans and rice, and my husband ordered Lomo saltado- meat was tender and the flavour was perfect! I would definitely eat here again.

Dont miss the Lomo Saltado and arroz con pollo. Original peruvian flavours. Bravo!!! They have cusqueña beer. Prices are reasonable considering how big are the servings. We paid 10 euros per a lomo saltado and 2 people ate. We will be back for sure.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
