More than caffé, I would rate this place as a restaurant. They serve also pizza, but it is not cooked in a wooden oven. The service is prompt but it is more a place for resting a little bit for tourists. What other comments say it is true, the waiter asks for a tip. Although he had done it in a... More

Caffe Domiziano, piazza Navona 88, Rome. Beware these guys show you one menu for ordering and replace it with expensive one when u pay. Example, a 6 euro cappuccino ( original menu was 3,5 euro)!

My Husband and i stopped for Lunch in Domiziano on the edge of Piazza Navona . We asked to share a Pizza as we wanted a light Lunch , to which the Waiter said its for one . So thinking portions were small , I ordered a Lasagne . When my Husbands Pizza came , it was full size and... More

My sister, friend and I went here for lunch. The prices were ok, the food was ok, but the service was terrible. When we paid for the bill, the server instantly said that his tip will not be able to paid by credit and we have to tip by cash. My friends from Italy has always told us to never... More

We ate at Caffe Domiziano for dinner on our second night in Rome. It is a gorgeous-looking restaurant, and we sat on the marble side-strip, which does get a bit of street noise, but is not too intrusive, and it also is permanently shaded. The staff were helpful and efficient, but not as friendly as many of the other restaurants,... More

Service was fast and good, the waiters very polite. The pizza we ordered was delicious and we didn't have to wait long, eventhough it was lunch time. A good choice in the area.

The food was unremarkable, ok but really nothing special. However what really irritated me was the service; the waiter aggressively pushed us to give him a supposedly mandatory 10% tip that was not announced anywhere (and also not included on the bill and supposedly could only be in cash...), he even went as far as trying to peek into our... First of all - had a look through the "terrible" reviews and have to completely disagree. For us, the prices were always going to be high due to the excellent location (still only around 40 euro for a bottle of wine and a pizza). The pizza was excellent, best we've had in Rome. The service was also excellent and we... More

I have been to Rome several times in the past few years and I loved the food at this restaurant in the past. I went back this time and although the food was very good, our waiter was rude, arrogant, and even had the nerve to include a 10% "service charge" to our bill and told us the tip is... More

I thought that because we were on the Piazza Navona they might skimp on flavor or service and I couldn't have been more wrong. Our waiter was a wonderful warm and friendly man and the pizza was the best one I ate on our three week trip. Everyone of my family of five was very pleased with our food. Please... More
