A busy noisy nonstop Italian restaurant, delish food. Good size servings, you will not leave hungry. Best to make a reservation in advance, many walk ins are turned away. House wine ½ liter=3.50Euro.

The cacio pepe and carbonara were amazing. So was the homemade tiramisu. Great restaurant with a traditional italian trattoria feel to it.

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up

I doubt that. I just assume that they don’t pick up the phone. I was only there once and didn’t make a reservation. Just go there and check. The wait won’t be long
