We came across this restaurant while walking around Rome and we were so glad we found it! The food was amazing and the staff made us feel welcome! We are a family of five with three kids aged 22, 19, and 16. The waiter made great recommendations and we all shared our food in order to try something different. The... More

For an amazing meal both in food and service this is the place, second visit to Rome and the waiters remembered us and welcomed us with open arms. We both celebrated our birthdays and got plenty of free drinks and deserts too. A must order is the florentine steak, rare of course. When we go back to Rome we will... More

We came across this place whilst passing by on the street and we ate here a couple of times. The food is authentic Italian and cannot be faulted. The special truffle pasta was the best I have tried to date. The service is great, they are friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place when visiting Rome!

To be honest before eating at this restaurant I went through all the bad reviews and the good, my partner and myself were going to pass on eating here after reading the bad reviews but I could not resist the 1kg t bone steak so we sat down not knowing what it's going to be like. Let me tell you... More

We encountered this restaurant while strolling the streets on our way to the Pantheon. We had promised to stop on our return. We went there for lunch and were not disappointed. A nice selection of entrées and desserts with complementary Limoncello to top off the meal. A fun time and a good meal!

Just another ok restaurant in Rome. I would skip it! Especially since the waiters beg unknowing Americans for tips but not the local Italians! And they do charge a copper to & servicio. Pushy & not like authentic Italian places! Salad good. Pizza, not so much.

You will eventually find yourself needing some nourishment and a cold drink while touring Rome over the course of any given day. When you're ready to stop there are usually a number of selections. We had certain criteria....wifi, nice antipasti and cold bear. This place fit the bill. We didn't have anything very fancy....a little antipasti, a small portion of... More

The food in Italy is amazing. We’ve had so many wonderful meals there, but one lunch in Rome was particularly memorable. We’d just finished a morning tour of the Vatican and were searching the streets near the Pantheon for a restaurant one of our party had been to a few nights before. We couldn’t find it, so wandered into er... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
