Outstanding. Best meal in Italy. Cacao Pepe, Ravioli and tiramisu were all super. Pricing was reasonable for the quality. Will definitely come back when next in Rome.

This restaurant is famous for it's cacio e pepe. They mix it right at the table and just watching the waiters mix it is an experience. We love visiting this restaurant and we often catch sight of famous Italian celebrities visiting the place so it must be pretty well known!! I had the fried lamb cutlets as a main course... More

It has been four years in a row that I make it a priority to eat here when visiting Rome. However, as a reviewer beautifully said, I feel like they were destined to give us a terrible experience this time around. We initially ordered a wine that we always order, a Barolo, but the sommelier recommended a bottle that was... More

We visited 2 times in our trip. It is hard to find a real itallian in a big touristic city like Rome but Felice is the one! We loved the cacio e pepe even more than the main dish. Also they have different tiramisu which should be tried as well.

Even though they serve italian food, the decoration is modern and kind of fancy. Not that many tourists, its a place where romans go. The food is very good, desserts also good, but it is expensive (we had one of the cheapest wines, a Chianti, and it was 23 euros).

good reviews made us go. Caccio e Pepe perfect. Service very good. Price, very reasonable. Nothing out of this world, which make it even more interesting, as the place is full, full full. Reservations are a must. Try the grilled seafood. Wine was very reasonably priced.

Felice was recommended by a Roman friend and I'm so glad she made the recommendation. Friendly, quick service and great food. We went for lunch and although we weren't there for long, we weren't rushed.

This was a highly recommended restaurant for their Cacio & Pepe. Made to perfection, was one of my favorite dishes in whole Italy! Booking is absolutely mandatory for a good experience and you need to call there to have it done, otherwise it can be a waste of time. That being said: don't leave Rome without tasting their food! You... More

Ask everyone in Roma where you can have the best cacio e pepe and you will always get the same answer: Felice in Testaccio! The cacio e pepe is amazing, a simple recipe that will fill your heart, but everything we tried was really good. One tip: if you order the cacio e pepe, don't touch it and wait for... More

Staying in Testaccio

Neighborhood Profile
Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio, an ancient Roman port and former working class neighborhood where the bass is set to high almost every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche (nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club hit, the area is full of locally owned small businesses and has one of the city's larger produce markets.
