My brother frequents this restaurant when he is in Rome and recommended we go and try it. Wonderful proper Italian food at very reasonable prices. I will be in again on my next visit to the city I can now highly recommend this restaurant too

We were recommended this restaurant by our airbnb host as having traditional Italian cuisine. We cannot rate the service as there was none. After a reasonable time the waitress asked us to order, however one member of our 3 man party was in the WC. He returned shortly after but yet we still needed to wait half an hour to... More

We ate here 7 years ago on our first trip to Rome on a Rick Steve's recommendation. This place has great pizza, friendly staff, and easy going atmosphere. We hit it up again just last week this time with the kids and its still a great find. The house wine is great and so is all the other food, not... More

We had been given a recommendation and were looking forward to something authentic. Appetizer of fried zucchini flower and mozzarella balls was awful - so much dough and oil it was almost inedible. Pizza was ordinary. We left soon after - and went someplace else for lunch.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our taxi driver and we were not disappointed. Nice atmosphere and great food for a reasonable price. Everything we had was delicious, especially the linguini with clams. We were only in Rome for 3 days and ate here twice - it was that good!

If you are in the center of Rome and looking for a very good place to eat AND you don't want to pay much, look for this place. Nice multilingual staff, good food, charming and simple ambient, very reasonable prices. Bruschetta was good, both with garlic and specially with olive paste. Pizza was made on an angel's wing: the crust... More

Very good food. The vegetable soup was fantastic and so was the pasta carbonara. We were seated at a table where it was very cramped, it also took some time before a waiter took our order, but the food is very good. Would have got a full score with slightly better service.

We do travel to Rome every year and this remains one of our personal favorites. We have been eating pizza here for years and the quality has not changed one bit. The pizzas are delicious. When you order wine, they give you a bottle and just charge you what you drink- we love that, although we mostly just finish the... More

We just happened to walk down this street and this taverna had "curb appeal." We took their business card and made a mental note to check it out the next day for lunch. Meanwhile, I misplaced their business card but was able to reconstruct the path we took the previous day and I was SO glad. The service and the... More

My husband and I stumbled upon this cozy little gem while on our honeymoon a year ago. We were in Rome 3 nights and ended up eating here EVERY night. A year later, we are back in Rome again for 2 days before a cruise. Again, we ate here with my family 3 times! You simply cannot go wrong here.... More
