Maybe the best coffee you can taste in Rome. Large coffee drinks selection available. You can also buy coffee beans and other coffee-related products. Main drawbacks: very few places to seat and very crowded.

If your in the area you have to come and try the ice coffee (ask for a coffee granita) I was told about this place by a local. Its shaved ice that has been soaked in espresso! This amazing!

We went to the tazza d'oro to try their famous granita del caffè. Unfortunately we arrived together with a large group of tourist. Accordingly, the line was very long. The staff managed the masses quite efficiently but friendliness was so wheat lost in the process. Nonetheless, the granita was worth the wait.

One of the best coffee places in Rome. The granita coffee tastes wonderfull. Great place to shop for edible souvenirs as well. We got some delicious coffee and freshly baked cookies to take with us to Belgium!

When in Rome, try a Granita! It is a must! The most amazing coffee beverage ever! Iced (Slushy) expresso with homemade whip cream. They were amazing and would love to have another! You have to stop here and try one, you will NOT be disappointed! I'm a granita fan all the way!

The most amazing "coffee" I've had on my trip so far. This place was recommended by a local and we were told to order the coffee granita or in other words an ice coffee. The espresso comes as shaved ice topped with in sweetened whip cream. Even if you don't like coffee you have to try this.

A little gem in Rome.... The best coffee and croissants and surprisingly great prices....I had gotten so used to paying 6 euro for every cappuccino that I thought the cashier had made a mistake and undercharged me....but no....I was pleasantly surprised!!! We had been recommended this place by our City Wonders tour guide Chiara on the second last day of... More

Their house specialities are the granita caffe (which comes with whipped cream and is my absolute favourite), parfait caffe (a gelato like coffee) and mousse caffe. Definitely worth coming here to try out these house specialities as it's something so original and so delicious! Be prepared to stand up and drink as there are only a couple of benches to... More

Best coffee ever! Wish our hotel had been a little closer, we would have come here every day for breakfast! Very good value (€1.10 for a cappucino) and although there are no tables but just a couple of benches, the bar is very long so you can take your time to stand there and have your coffee - not crowded... Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
