A hidden away gem. Get out of the huddle and bustle and enjoy a coffee and some cake. I have visited here twice and enjoyed the service and quality of my choices. Currently due to the COVID-19 restrictions, it is only open in the evening...from 5pm until about 8-9pmMore

Just left the place extremely disappointed. What at first seemed like a really cosy nook in the heart of Rome turned out to be a typical “appearances are deceptive”! We ordered hot chocolates which turned out to be more like a Nesquik or Cola Cao...rather than hot chocolate. So their menu is not true to what they really serve. This was disappointing especially because we asked the girl to specify exactly what kind of hot chocolate they had and told her what we were looking for. Nevertheless, they accepted the payment and didn’t even apologise. The attitude of the girl at the bar left a lot to be desired when speaking of customer service. It’s a shame, cos I thought I’d just discovered a new favourite place in Rome but given the treatment we received, well, never again!More

So sorry about what happened but trust me our hot chocolate comes from England and everybody likes it ! They are not so thick but I think they told you before ... as for making you pay what you did not like, the girls did...More

Very cool laid back bar hidden among the streets of touristy Rome. Our server was attentive, hard working and very helpful, recommending Il Corallo for dinner which was terrific. We had a glass of wine and a rest and we were probably not the usual...type but were treated nicely in the comfy back room.More

Unfortunately, I was not able to visit this place. I showed up a little after 9 am with my laptop hoping for breakfast and to get some work done. The door was closed - I think it still had a padlock on it - with...a sign listing opening at 9 am. There was no sign saying they were closing that day either. Disappointed.More

I'm used to showing up in a new city, finding a coffeeshop, and camping out to work for hours at a time. But Rome is not, it turns out, set up for this. Here cafes are for eating and drinking, not working. So I was...pretty thrilled to find this spot. They've got everything: outlets, wifi, cheap and tasty espresso, and best of all no judgement if you bust out the laptop and stay a while. The owner is super friendly, and the service was great...they'll even bring your order to your table. They've got a nice chill playlist of old-school rock (one day it was all Beatles) and reggae. The've got a single sidewalk table (with a great view) if you want to work outside. I visited three days (sunday-tuesday) and had no trouble finding an indoor seat any of those days. Didn't have any of the food, so can't speak to that. But in every other way, it's a truly fantastic spot, and highly recommended for working travellers who want some great local flavor.More

We wanted something different than the usual pasta/gelato restaurants in Rome and we searched for a place to sell hot chocolate. We came across this place in the narrow alleys of Rome. Small restaurant with different vibe. They have some healthy menu items such as...acai. We only had the hot chocolate because we were in a hurry. However the other items in the menu had a potential. Also, they have some different types coffees also worth trying.More

My friend and I were in on Sunday for coffee, we sat at the bar and one of the staff members (female with dark hair and a black cap) was screaming at customers and berating the black staff member that was working with her. She...was screaming at him and telling him he wasn’t working fast enough and saying she was going to call her boss and get him fired. She also tried to up charge us for sitting at the bar and said it was seated service. My friend is Italian and told her we would not be paying an up charge. I’ve never felt so unwanted at an establishment, and in my opinion she should be fired. She also argued with my friend about not serving her a cappuccino and told her if she wanted it faster she could leave. It was quite honestly horrible and I was extremely put off by her attitude. I had been in daily for my coffee before this occurred and the black gentleman made my cappuccino and was very friendly and kind.More
