Fantastic gelato, cheap and close to the vatican museums. Quick service even with a big queue, looks to be popular

When in Rome, you need gelato. And this is just the place to get it. It's small, so just look for the long line of people.

It is a good ice cream and they give large portions at reasonable prices, but I had better in various other places within Rome. It was too liquid for may taste, I would have expected a creamy one instead.

This place got 5 stars from me due to the value for money! 3 euros for 3 huge scoops of great quality gelato. They do not take card so make sure you have cash with you, the line is often out the door but moves very quickly so don't be deterred. One of the best finds I have had in... More

We stopped by here three times! There's a variety of choices and I loved the blueberry yoghurt flavour. It's good for value too since 2 euros can get you three flavours. Do stop by if you are visiting the Vatican!

Nearby where I was crashing and some of the best gelato I've had in Rome or anywhere else. The price wasn't a ripoff and that was pretty cool considering prices in the center and the staff was nice. I stopped by as often as I could during my last short trip.

The first time when I was so disappointed picking up the place with a good rate on Tripadvisor. The ice cream wasn't tasty at all and I really do not understand all the great reviews. I had stracciatella and zabaione tastes - the former had very hard and crunchy pieces of chocolate which wasn't even good chocolate and the ice... More

Most recomended ice cream in Itally, next to the Vatican city wall next to Piazza Del Risorgimento, you have to try the Nutella and chocolate with chocolate chuncks on a cone, we had to come back the next day from far away, most recomended

Today, we had our ice cream from here after our dinner. It was reasonably tasty. Its amount was quite huge, compared to the others. However, the staff was really impatient to allow us to choose our favourite flavours among many ones. Anyway, it would be a nice place for everyone to have average delicious ice cream after your Vatican visit.

True Italian ice cream. Very tasty and creamy. Vanilla, pistachio, Nutella, nocciola and amaretto - tasted and enjoyed.

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
