Was recommended this place by a friend and paid it a visit after the Vatican museums on a hot day in July. I was not disappointed, the ice cream was amazing! I loved the variety of the flavours. Some I had never seen before. The only reason I can't give it a 5 is because my partner is lactose intolerant... More

I've been going to Old Bridge near the Vatican (on the way from St. Peter's Square to the museum) on visits to Rome for 15 years. It remains the best gelato - and best priced (2 big scoops for 2 euro) I've had in Italy. Definitely make a stop. It's much better than the gelaterias in the center and listed... More

We got to this place by it being reccommended by a family member, who lived in the neighborhood for several years. I tried it 8 years ago and I was amazed. I tried it this year too and found many more options to buy and taste. You can't actually choose from all of them at once, that's why you have... More

Excelent sellers. It could be interesting to be able to pay in Credit Card in order to avoid to go to the bankomat.

Great gelato. Good selection of flavours. For €4 you get 4 flavours. You get a lot of gelato for €4, unlike other places that give you small scoops and that's it. If like me you like ice cream in "reasonable " quantities, you will appreciate this place more than other places that sell ice cream. You will not be disappointed.

There are other gelaterias that get more notoriety but this place is a best kept secret. Easy to find on the way to the Vatican Museum. Just across the street. Gelato is creamy and flavors are intense and delicious. Don't be surprised to see a line down the street. For people in the know, this gelateria worth seeking!

Great selection of flavors and a wide variety of sizes in cups and cones. Some of the best gelato I've had. Can't beat the price for the amount you get and the selection.

After trying about six gelaterias in Rome, I can conclude this one is the best. For two euros you get a waffle cone, three different ice creams, and an amazing Italian gelato flavour!

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
