This little place is not easy to find, but it is well worth it. The service was very warm. The bruschetta was perhaps the best we had during our one week in Italy. House wine, pasta, dessert all superb! Highly recommended.

Much like many others have written before, we had a terrific meal here, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for an unpretentious, authentic Italian meal. From the fresh burrata with ripe tomatoes starter, to the gorgonzola ravioli and house made lasagna, all was...More

When visiting Rome, my friend and I visited La Botticella often as it was our favourite restaurant. I highly recommend the pesto pasta, followed by the tiramisu. Lovely wine and lovely service.

This restaurant is run by two sisters and they create a homey atmosphere for a quiet meal, including chasing away any street performers that try to wheedle money from their guests as they enjoy their food. We enjoyed a litre of their excellent house wine,...More

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
