After seeing all the positive reviews and walking by this restaurant on our way to our hotel my mom and I decided to get dinner here on our last night in Rome. We had a reservation for 8:30 pm. We were seated and ordered 5 minutes after the couple next to us, yet received our mains almost an hour after... More

I was traveling alone and they were extremely nice. They went out of their way to make connections with guests

Stopped here for supper one night as it got great reviews and had outdoor seating. Plus they opened before 7:00 which is the time most other places open for supper. We all ordered the lasagna which was 10 Euros. Several of us order bottled water but the waiter said he'd bring just two bottles because we were ordering much more... More

Got carbonara for lunch. Sauce is very creamy and is a cheese explosion to say the least. The meat that comes it is fresh and full of flavor. Delicious! Will definitely come back.

Found this restaurant in Rome before visiting. The food, staff and atmosphere excelled our expectations. We visited 3 times during our stay in Rome and each time the food was fabulous. Went to several other restaurants and they didn't come close to the service provided by the attentive staff or the cosy ambience and delicious food. Even if not staying... More

Lovely atmosphere, great decor, attentive staff and a menu featuring a number of vegetarian options - what more could you ask? Really enjoyed our pasta (cacio e pepe for me, octopus in tomato for husband with a side order of - truly delicious chicory). The restaurant also has an extensive wine list- can definitely recommend.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
