We found this pizza restuarant on trip advisor - it’s just down the road from our apartment. Tables were lining the pavement and there was a short queue for collections. Then we noticed there were only locals eating there - a good sign! We ordered...a selection of pizzas from the friendly waiter. They came quickly and were delicious - mine was a Carpaccio pizza (“BFR”) and I can especially recommend it. Our bill was very reasonable too.More

Far from the tourist haunts of central Trastevere, Pepito’s is a great local option. We have gotten takeaway from here loads of times and they never disappoint. Our Italian is rusty, but the staff are nice and patient. Highly recommended.

This is Pizza how it should be... Ypu can't stop until it finished. First time I had a Diavola.. The second I asked to make Calzone of this one... Spicy but not to hot, perfect dough with the best fresh ingredients.. The Calzone was perfectly...juicy.. You wish this pizzeria was next to your home. The friendly and funny service is the "cherry tomato" on top. I'll be back.More

This place was recommended to us and well worth a visit. We were staying round the corner while here on holiday and fancied a local favourite. Great service and amazing food. Probably the best pizza I have ever had. Well worth it. Thank you.

I've been here many times, with friends, with family, and alone. Highly recommend for good authentic wood oven pizza. A neighborhood pizzeria that won't disappoint if you want a true Roman experience.

Delicious thin crispy and light crusted pizza always served with a smile. The prices are good as well. We love the calzones and the battered fiore di zucca (zucchini flowers) stuffed with cheese and an anchovy lightly fried. The house made (peperoncino) hot pepper spread...in oil is delicious and spicy too!More

Looks very simple and it is but the staff are great, the food is wonderfull and well priced. The starters were fresh, especially the fried mozeralla and the pizzas devine. Got a free shot of lemoncello each at the end.

We visited Pepito's on a recent family trip to Rome, we are staying out of the city centre and the taxi driver from the airport told us that we are lucky to be staying near the 'best pizzeria in Rome'.......he was not wrong, and in...5 days we went back twice. Both times we were the only non-Roman in the restaurants which is always a good sign that the locals are the main patrons. The restaurant is about a 15 min bus ride from the centre of Rome (on route 170). The decor is simple, with a slight pirate theme (pepito is Italian pirate cartoon), it is clean and the staff friendly and spoke english. The pizza's were fantastic, cooked in a wood fired oven with obviously fresh ingredients, the special Margherita (6 euros) and Rockerduck (the most expensive at 10 euros) were especially good. On both occasions 6 off us could not eat all six pizza and the waitress boxed the remains that we took home for breakfast. Compared to prices in the centre of Rome Pepito's offered great value, 6 off us ate with beers, soft drinks and coffee for under 80 euro's. This was a real gem, and the taxi driver was not wrong!More

Good prices for great food. Really enjoyed their porcini calzone. Be careful, as they tried to charge us a coperto tax, which is illegal in state of Lazio.

My wife and I enjoyed some really lovely pizzas. We were on the hunt for a good Italian pizza after a long day exploring the city and we were delighted to find somewhere with plenty of seating to rest our weary legs. There was a...lovely atmosphere, we were well looked after and the food was marvellous. Plenty of choice on the menu!More
