We just spent 8 days in Rome. My husband found Vitos the last night we were here. What an awesome experience. The food was delicious but the service was amazing! Samuel, Andrew and Camillo went above and beyond to deliver fast service with a sense of humor. Definitely give this place a try!

We were charged 50 euro for a bottle of proseco that cost 10 euro! Food mediocre, service great but obviously calculated to cheat you. Do not recommend!!

We arrived in Rome very late and Vito's was in the same street as our Residencia so we gave it a try. From the moment we entered we were welcome. As we were so late, they apologised and said they could only offer Pizza or Lasagna, which was fine by us. Several glasses of wine later we paid a ridiculously... More

Our hotel was nearby and we tried most of the restaurants in the several block area. This was our favorite.

Visited this restaurant on our first night for dinner and was so pleased with the quality and service that we returned for the following two nights too! The food is so fresh and tasty, the best food we found in Rome! The price is so good too - not high touristy prices like near the tourist areas. We got to... More

We ate here several times during visit to Rome, everything from 3 course dinner to pizza. Every time we walked in the staff made us immediately welcome, the menu has something for everyone, the for is delicious, there's plenty of drinks to chose from and the atmosphere is great. We would never think twice about going back again and again.

We first ate here while visiting Rome several years ago. So, while staying at the Viscounti Palace Hotel again, only a five minute walk away, we were eager to revisit Vito's. After a full day in Rome, we took a priest friend with us to dinner. As a born and raised local he is always especially critical - he loved... More

Having spent the day sight seeing my wife and I were heading back to our hotel the Dei Mellini on the same street as Vito's and decided to pop in for a drink. Staff were excellent and a plate of free snacks along with our drinks were promptly dispatched to our table. We asked if we could reserve a table... More

We ate dinner here one night, had the gnocchi and spaghetti bolognese. Food was average. Service was good at the start however, we never got the cappuccino we ordered and took ages to get the bill even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. Upon finally getting the bill we realised we had been charged for the cappuccino we never got... More

Just here tonight and ordered a few dishes. Their steak and veal were of great quality. Personally like the steak a lot. Nicely cooked. The tiramisu recommended by the staff was also very nice. Staff was friendly and definitely tourist friendly. We got free sorbet and a drink at the end! Love it

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
