I have been to Rome for 6 days, and had coffee in about 15 different cafes. Italian coffee is to die for.. I enjoyed every single one. That one though was outrageous cafe... Coffee tasted nothing like Italian coffee, and it was cold! Waitress was rather unfriendly and looked so unhappy. The view from the rooftop is indeed amazing, but... More

I was welcomed at served by the friendly vivacious Stani who made sure my visit was pleasurable. I ordered the classic aperto spritz which came with olives, nuts and delicious crackers. I soaked in all the sights which, from this TERRACE, are intoxicating: the domes of all the churches on the skyline, the Spanish steps below, the church above called... More

Il palazzetto is a classic spot for everyone who want to enjoy the best view on the Spanish steps. However, the service is not as high as the location and the choice of food is poor.. Only frozen pizza and no wifi

Couldn't ask for a better location, we only stopped for drinks which aren't cheap but worth it for the view. Nibbles weren't great but oh well!

The position of *IL PALAZZETTO* is simply the best!! Right next to the Spanish Steps with a wonderful view on the steps and the city of Rome! Actually I thought it was an expensive place, but when I checked the menu I was very surprised to find out that they offer a pizza with a glas of nice wine for... More

This is a wonderful little spot at the top of the Spanish steps to enjoy a drink and the view. It is a rooftop terrace with a wonderful view of the city. We cannot comment on the food as we only had a drink but we thoroughly enjoyed the location and atmosphere. We also had very friendly service and never... More

A lovely place to enjoy a cold glass of wine on a sunny evening with delicious snacks and friendly staff ...just to watch the world go by ....at the top of the Spanish steps which were still being refurbished when we visited so terrace was a little quieter than usual I suspect!

We found this gem of a hotel by accident. There are just 4 rooms so we had the whole place to ourselves. The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The rooftop terrace was our home away from home (great Aperol Spritz's and pizza!). AMAZING breakfast at adjacent Hotel Hassler included in the tariff. The rooms were very luxurious and clean,... A great pit stop & do a very reasonable glass of wine & pizza for 18 euros. We didn't eat but drinks are served with complimentary snacks which did the trick. Good service and nice location make this a good place to stop at the top of the Spanish steps.

We've been there for lunch. They served only pizzas...the pizzas were not prepared at the restaurant. They were pre-cooked (frozen) and were just put in the oven the last minute. It's totally crazy to serve frozen pizzas in the "city of pizza"... We paid 24€ for 3 Cokes and 58€ for 3 frozen pizzas... And not to forget, there was... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
