Located on a quiet side street near Piazza Navona in the Pantheon neighborhood, so it's not a place to do a lot of people watching. They had some seating outside, but we opted for inside upstairs which was cozy and had a ceiling fan that...More

This is our third visit to Rome and we couldn’t wait to go back to the Old Bear. We were NOT disappointed . This is one of the best restaurants in Rome. Being Italian we know our food and the food here is consistently amazing...More

Not a bad place to visit with wide food variety. In this place you can find meat, seafood and pastas. We ordered for appetizer ham plate and as main course- filet under Gorgonzola sauce with salad and roasted potato. Meat was good and perfect roast....More

This quaint restaurant remains close to all of the action yet somehow feels quiet and cozy. 3 things we loved: 1. They don’t charge extra for bread - something that appears to be a rarity in Rome as many restaurants force bread baskets onto the...More

The four of us went to Old Bear based on the ratings and a recommendation from another friend. While I enjoyed the lamb skewers, albeit slightly overlooked, my dinner companions thought their respective pasta dishes were just fair. We have had better in Rome. Prices...More

Good service, staff were friendly and food was great. The crostini was very good and is worthy of the high praise given throughout the majority of these reviews. This area has a lot of high quality restaurants and this is most certainly one of them.

Stumbled upon this restaurant during our recent trip. Had to wait for a table as it was very busy. Well worth the wait! The food was amazing, as was the atmosphere. Friendly staff and not too pricey. Fantastic gluten free options too. Highly recommend.

I scouted out this spot before our trip and set up a reservation, which was a good idea given the folks hanging out in the street. The food was remarkable and the service was very attentive. If you want a place with a more adventurous...More

I would had given them a five star if they are well staffed, everything told quite awhile. Food was delicious though, their paella was the best we ever had and it's enough for 3 people.

Recently spent 4 days in Rome and ate here twice as the food was so nice. We sat inside on the first night as there were no tables available outside, very hot. Food is gorgeous here, staff very friendly. Service great, food choices include Italian,...More
