And when eating there we noticed a lot of other tourists mostly, probably down to our relying on TripAdvisor. The service was lovely and the... More

I wish I could be in Rome more often just so that I could dine at Vecchia Locanda ... the fantastic food, great wine and exemplary service. Local cuisine made as it should be, fresh and delicious, all made 'in-house' The house wine is the best 'house wine' I have tasted anywhere ... you would spend many euros to get... More

We stumbled on this restaurant in 2011 and enjoyed it so much that we returned in 2016, and dined here every night that we were in Roma, being a total six times having dinner here. The best local cuisine, the friendliest service from Roberta, Mareo and Fabio, the best restaurant we have been to anywhere. Belissimo! Tonight's saltimbocca a la... More

Been here twice, service was very friendly. The place was cozy. It was still in the historical center, but not a trap. Food was tasty everything we had was home made and delicious.

We loved it, food was great service was spot on and just enough off the beaten path that the prices were reasonable too. They really treat you like family here and it's contagious. Go here, you won't be disappointed. We went early for dinner and didn't need a reservation but if you are going around prime time a reservation would... More

An excellent place with fantastic service..and affordable pricing! Was really nice of them to host us at 2245 and waited patiently for us to Finish up our food and not once, pushing us to get out (we were the last ones to get out).. Dinner for two with wine (half bottle) works out to about 45 €!
