Top notch menu. You have to pay, but not more than in an average roman tourist trap. And this is a totally different experience. We went for 4-course menu with wine package. An experience to remember!

My wife and I dined here a few weeks ago. I first wrote a review 5 years ago and after just reading it, I see that nothing has changed. I just love this restaurant so much. It is quiet, romantic, elegant, very friendly and magnificent food. Yes, the food is superb. The servers are just so nice too. This is... More

Restaurant was recommended by our hotel (5 mins walk from Spanish steps). It was amazing. The food and service were incredible. We had the black truffle tasting menu (first time we have tried truffles) and the quality of food was on a par with any of the michelin starred restaurants we have eaten in. 250 Euro for the whole meal... Try the truffle tasting menu--if you like truffles! The best I have ever eaten. Other meals are just as well done. The ambiance is romantic, the service superb.

This place knows a thing or two about excellent service and outstanding food. The truffle tasting menu is a must for those who love them. The staff are knowledgeable and accommodating and the food does not disappoint. Highly recommend the wine pairing to accompany the tasting menu.

We went here on our last night in Rome! The staff was pleasant and knowledgable about wine. Our waitress was able to pick out the perfect wine from my exact requests. I had the cheese platter for an app and loved every bit of it! For my entree I have the truffle pasta!sooo amazing! This place is not cheap but... More

We worried that our expectations may be too high, with all of the wonderful TripAdvisor reviews for this restaurant! However, we absolutely loved our meal at Ad Hoc. We were invited to a complimentary truffle tasting at their shop around the corner. We got to try eight different types of truffle pate, along with a glass of prosecco. This could... More

Ad hoc is a nice restaurant that would work well both for a couple's evening together or a special dinner with a group of friends. The food was good, the service even better. Recommended!

The wine list was more like a novel than a wine list. Once I chose a wine, the sommelier was quick to recommend a better one which was incredible. The truffles were extraordinary and on every single dish! I have a home in Italy and am there quite often. Ad Hoc was one of the best restaurants I have ever... More
