We gasped as we walked in the door. The walls lined with wine bottles, candles and mood lighting. The experience just got better as we were greeted with complimentary champagne and bruschetta. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered the beef tartare as a starter and had salmon ravioli and braised beef cheek. We had a 2011 nebbiolo which... More

Unassuming from the street it may be, but this remains one of the best places we have ever dined at over the years...I first reviewed Ad Hoc in 2010. It gets better every time we go there. Great attention to detail as always in the presentation, flavour and food pairing. We had an extremely knowledgable waitress(I wish I knew her... More

This is by far my favorite dinner place in all of Rome. The atmosphere and the food were all perfect! I would highly recommend the tasting menus as they pair each course with a wine that compliments it wonderfully! Next time I go to Rome, I will definitely be returning here. Thank you for an amazing experience!

This restaurant is one of the best restaurants I've had in Rome. I had the truffle tasting menu. It was expensive but so worth it. Please be careful ordering this as the portions are huge. I could barely finish everything. Food took a bit long to arrive but once you start tasting the dishes you will quickly forget how long... More

Had a absolutely amazing dinner here last night! We tried the truffle tasting menu, and it was fantastic. A lot of food for a great price. The atmosphere is so romantic, will definitely come back next time we visit Rome. Thanks a lot for a lovely experience.

Decided to go here after walking past the night before, fantastic, friendly, romantic atmosphere, and great food, stick to the items with truffles (it's the specialty of the restaurant) and if there is a dish without, the staff are more than accommodating to adjust the meal to include truffles and adjust sauces etc. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I enjoyed a terrific dinner last week at AdHoc. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Each platter served was unique and special. Our food was complimented with a wonderful bottle of prosecco. The meal was not cheap, but it was worth every euro!

We ate at Ad Hoc on our recent trip to Rome after previously experiencing a great dinner twelve months ago - and can I say we were not disappointed! Not only was the food absolute quality but you will find their wine selection breathtaking. The pasta with truffles was to die for and their service was impeccable. I hope to... More
