We made the reservation from the UK, online, easy and recognised. Then we got an invite from Ad Hoc to do some truffle tasting before the meal just around the corner of Ad Hoc, a lovely experience Ad Hoc wanted to us to have. This was followed by a great tasting menu feast, generous portions (almost too much) of high... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by two different people and while they must have had a good experience, we did not. It took 30 minutes to get our order taken. The server did apologize for the delay but the incredibly slow pace continued. 45 minutes into our visit, we received bread. 1/2 of the bread was very dry and... More

This is good restaurant in the finest region of Rome. The service was especially careful and unobtrusive. The atmosphere was calm with quiet music and interesting view behind the window.

Everything about this restaurant is good. The ambience, staff and of course the food. Interior is very well done and inviting and the staff are very helpful and charming. The wine on display is quite magnificent. Food is excellent and we had menus with wine pairings which was faultless - both food and wine.

Found Ad Hoc right here on Trip Advisor and what a find ! One of the best and most subtly innovative restaurants in Rome. Awesome wine list, intimate setting and great service. There is a price for all the greatness, it is expensive. Only hope I can eat there again before my vacation ends

Our Ad Hoc experience was amazing tonight. We started with a free wine and truffle tasting at their truffle shop around the corner. This was a very nice tasting experience. We were greeted warmly upon arrival for dinner. We were seated in a beautiful room surrounded by wine bottles. It looked like we were in an exclusive wine cellar. Within... More

Ad Hoc is our favorite restaurant in Rome. We have been to Rome three times over the last ten years and it has become one of our traditions to visit Ad Hoc. Its a very comfortable and cozy restaurant with knowledgable and very friendly staff. The focus here is on truffles and the food is absolutely amazing. Over our various... More
