I had been craving truffles during our trip so my wife found Ad Hoc in Rome for our last night before leaving Italy. We were seated in a beautiful room lined with bottles of wine. Almost immediately we were served a complimentary glass of Prosecco. This was heaven for me because we had some slow service experiences earlier in the... More

We had dinner in this place in July. Food quality was clealy lower than many other places in Rome with similar ranking. Absolute disaster was the 'alternative' Tiramisu'. A cookie with some chocolate and a mountain of whipped cream.

My husband and I both ordered the truffle tasting menu with wine pairings. We wanted to love this restaurant; the interior was so aesthetically pleasing, the location great, the menu offerings awesome. However, the food fell short of our probably high expectations. The appetizer course was the best of all of the food, followed by the pasta, then meat, then... More

This is a small restaurant, off the beaten path, and it was fabulous. The staff was very attentive and after we ordered, our adult son was not feeling well, and had to go back to the hotel. They called him a taxi, and canceled his order no problem. The rest of the meal was perfect, the food was fantastic, the... More

Shortly....the food is pretty average. The price was 111 euro for 1 person. Left hungry. All did just for appearance. Not worth to visit at all.

Atmosphere created by the employees and restaurant itself created great dinner evening for us as the last night evening before flying back home. Great experience! Food was amazing!

Ok, I'm going to be honest, we had dinner here immediately after getting engaged, so my opinion may be a bit biased. That said, the meal here was impeccable. They specialize in truffles, so if you've got that weakness--as I do--this is a restaurant not to be missed. The service was excellent (which can be less common at some Italian... More

We were recommended this restaurant by a friend who had visited and it was well worth the trip! Lovely atmosphere and the land tasting menu was just delicious. Really impressed on the portions sizes too and the little added extras. Such a good 'date night' location.

We recently spent 3 days in Rome before joining a Med Cruise. On the 2nd day we returned to Ad Hoc, which we had dined at during a previous visit last year. After making the reservation on line they contacted us and invited us to come 30 minutes ahead of time for a truffle & wine tasting. It was an... More

Visited on 1st night of our holiday with my partner. Complementary truffle tasting and aperratif. Amazing. Then into the restaurant friendly staff another complimentary aperratif and pre starter! Great menu and knowledgeable staff. All food was delicious especially lobster with pasta and the sucking pig. Will definitely return on our next visit to rome. At the end of our meal... More
