Tried to get a table but were told that there were no tables outside even though there were 3 empty tables (we were told they were booked) . We were given a table inside which were near a bar and a table right next to it was covered in stationery (again there was another empty table which was empty). When... More

After Mass at S Maria ai Monti we walked round the corner to da Robertino where we found good ingredients, well cooked, and served with warmth and efficiency. The chargrilled octopus was delicious. The grilled lamb simple but flavoursome.

I do not like to complain usually, however, this experience was really bad.... extremely slow and unfriendly service, very average food, had simple things but they were not prepared well at all. Simple piece of meat that was supposed to be medium rare - was very well done in a half.... very disappointing taking into consideration the location of the... More

An impromptu visit and we really enjoyed our lunch with a view to the church dome up the street. Really good quality cold meats platter with delicious pecorino. Good friendly service. We would have come back for dinner that evening had it not been such a long walk from out hotel.

We waited for 50 minutes before we got our 2 dishes, Lamm chops and rigatoni! Either they forgot us our were just ignorant! We asked for a coffee and again waited 15 minutes... Not a place to have reasonable dinner. Quality of food was basic and nothing special.

I had the best spaghetti of my whole life there ! Unfortunately it was the very last night of my stay in Rome during which I discovered the place but I will definitely pay them more visits if I'm back at Rome one day. The pasta I had was tasting a bit spicy and was called "Pasta Arrabbiata". it came... More

I had pasta and it was very good. The meal was served quickly (15 min) and it was hot. They forgot the cheese... anyway, it was a great experience. We had dinner for $27 (we were 2). I really liked the speed of the service. Very correct.

Looking at the reviews we weren't happy to try.But what a nice surprise! Yes the service is not the "please like me" type. But the food is all you need to feel in a roman kitchen. Fiori di zucca is a work of art.
