We were told about this place by a guide on a walking tour who said "Rome isnt all pizza and pasta" and to try some amazing Italian street food, not disappointed at all. Got there early and glad we did as the queue as we...were leaving was pretty long ! Such a relaxed atmosphere not pretentious at all. Staff were amazing and advised us to try the Suppli which was incredible. Good for a light lunch, good wine too.More
Great food for lunch- super delicious!! Recommend the fritti selection to start. Smaller appetites one pocket is fine. Service a little slow.

Queue was an hour long for the takeaway window, but I can’t blame the restaurant for this as that is not their fault. It was worth the wait anyway, the food is so delicious, I have been twice since I have visited Rome. Would recommend...but maybe try and go a different time to the 12-3pm lunch rush.More
We went here on a recommendation by a friend. Glad I listened. Would love to create a place like this in Rome, GA. Can't go wrong with any of the options. We did the Polo alla Cacciatora, the Eggplant Parm and the Meatball. They were...all fantastic.More
There are many locations throughout Italy. This one is in Trastevere - paired with a wine bar. Great quick bite for lunch or dinner.
We visited as part of a food tour and loved it so much we came back for lunch. The perfect pockets are soft on the inside to suck up all the wonderful flavours of the filling and the outside has a good crunch. We’ve tried...all sorts between us but would thoroughly recommend the pork (when it’s available, it’s a special) and spicy beef and aubergine parmigiana!! My daughter loved the suppli best, she would have eaten loads!!More
We came for lunch and it was very crowded. Seems to be a Must-be spot. The staff was very friendly and we didnt waited long to get placed. The food was delicious. We loved this piazza and its vibe's. It was the right place for...this good-bye Rome lunch. Worth to be mentioned the motivated and friendly waiter Ricardo. It was the best mealtime we had during our Rome visit.More
Quite simply the best food I had in Rome … was only a short 3 night stay, but we went twice as it was so good … not only is the food good but the service excellent too. On our second visit they remembered us!!!...Had it not been for a friend recommending the visit we’d have never known about it, or the area in general. So much life and vibrancy … but these pizza pockets are the bomb. The arincini balls are also good, but the trapizzini are the best you’ll have the great fortune In tasting when you go.More
We went here twice during our stay in Rome for lunch, just sat and chilled out and had drinks, then one sandwich each and a crochetta which was all delicious. It gets busy, high turnover of tables with people stopping by, eating then going, but...the first time we went, the lady waiting on tables outside was so friendly and told us all about the wine list, and other places to go in Trastevere and get good Gelato etc. If you like people watching this is the place, great priced Aperol's, limited Beers (only two on offer) but well worth stopping by! If we go again, I'd try some of the Specials sandwiches, and be a bit more adventurous than just the hot chicken. Staff allowed me to charge my iPhone in the bar, as we had been out all day and it was dead, so I really appreciated that, ALOT!More
While visiting Rome, my new Italian friends took me on a little walk through Travestere and brought me to Trapizzino. Where have I been? I can't believe I never knew about this place on my first visit!! Back to the food....reasonably priced, made-to-order, and crazy...good street food. One sandwich was pretty filling for me, but I wanted to eat more. The lines can be long (and beware, the natives are known to cut), but it is well worth the wait! I highly recommend the food.More

Always my first food in Rome. I crave this and it alone is reason enough to return to the eternal city. Friendly, fast service, good wine, well priced. Eggplant for me, meatball for husband, suppli to share. Perfecto!
Amazing food. Absolutely loved it. If you want to try true Italian food this is the place to go to. Very lovely staff too. Me and my girlfriend both loved it. And the prices were very affordable.
Met expectations and some! The chicken cacciatora filling was absolutely divine and the bread was perfectly soft soaking up the sauce, with a crisp/chewy outer layer. Excellent quality, service great, very reasonably priced. Not to be missed in Rome.
