We greatly enjoyed our meals here! Not geared for tourists especially, but that's generally a good thing when it comes to having excellent food. After leaving the Vatican museums we were barraged with hawkers handing out flyers for things like a 'quinck lunch'. No kidding. We walked a little more and found this place. We took the time to have... More

We went to this restaurant to have dinner, but I'm not feeling well and just my husband would like to eat. When we asked to a laddie (we think she was the owner) a pasta, just for him, she refused to serve. I tried to explain that I was not feeling well but she refused again and told us that... More

We stopped in here after touring the Vatican museum. While there are many restaurants trying to lure you in after exiting the Vatican, skip those and walk an extra block to Piacere Molise. We ordered pinsa (Roman style) pizzas: one margherita and one diavola. Both were superb with pillowy crust and excellent cheese. The diavola's salami was terrific and while... More

Had lovely fresh melon and pancetta to start, the veal, meat ravioli with truffle sauce and monkfish ravioli with shrimp. Everyone at the table nearly licked their plates cleaned - everything was delicious. Panna cotta and molten chocolate cake to finish which were lovely...maybe a little too rich for the latter!

We stopped in here for lunch on our first day in Rome. Having poked our heads in a few places nearby Piacere Molise seemed the best of the places in the immediate area. When we arrived the place was quite full with the majority of visitors locals which we took as a good sign. The service was pleasant and speedy... More

Family owned restaurant offering good selection of delicious menu items at reasonable prices. Tasty classics, good service, friendly casual vibe. The house wine was a letdown though and tart for my taste. If you are near the Vatican, the restaurant is a good stop for a recharge. Otherwise, wait a bit and spend a few more euros to find a... Went here on the first night of a four night stay as our apartment was very close. It was OK but nothing special. Service efficient if a bit brusque. Did return 2 nights later because it was so close, and we had already walked 7 miles that day exploring Rome, but left as there was a rather unpleasantly pervasive fish... More

Plan on finding this small, family run restaurant early in your stay in the eternal city. Unpretentious and welcoming- so you have to look for it, but only a block away from the Vatican Museum entrances. Look at the menu, take the server's suggestions but then make certain someone at the table orders the ravioli with lemon saffron sauce. This... More

We stayed in a hotel nearby are were recommended this restaurant by the hotel. The food was delicious the service friendly and personable. Ravioli with a saffron sauce is divine. Lemon sorbet with vodka a must. This is a small, family run local place with great food at a reasonable price.

The food is awesome and the service is warm and friendly. Affordable price and really close to the Vatican. Perfect!
