Food and service were both great. Waiter was very nice and attentive it felt like a meal with a family member. Would definitely recommend the risotto.

We had our last diner in Ristorante Tema and it was worth it. We both had a four disches menu that also includes 1/4 litres wine each and water. I can surely recomment it: Disches were quite big and tasteful. After home made dessert (pannacotta) we were absolutely full and satisfied. With friendly staff and reasonable pricing (at least in... This restaurant is a must. I had octopus salad which was very good. My wife's sautéed mussels were even better. The grilled orata was done to perfection. Baked sea bass with cherry tomatoes was also very good. Both were nicely filleted. I finally finished my meal with a pastiera Napolitana, with which they gave us free shots of limoncello and... Looked busy when passing (always a good sign) so decided to give it a try. Was seated straight away & presented with comprehensive menu & wine list. Although says specialise in seafood, hubby said his steak was one of the best he'd ever had! Excellent food, good wine & superb hospitality.

We arrived without reservations and were seated immediately. They have a normal menu and a price fixed menu. The food was wonderful and the staff was extremely friendly. We were waited on 3 different people throughout the night to make sure we were happy.

Returned with my family to Tema for the second time after seven years. It was like we never left! The food was wonderful and the server was attentive. The owner checked on us frequently to make sure everything was okay. The waiter even gave us a bottle of wine on the way out to thank us for coming back! If... More

Ok, it is not really fair for a Midwesterner to judge an Italian restaurant in Rome based on a steak, but I'd not had red meat in some time. Others around the table had traditional Italian and were very satisfied. A neat option offered is a full course meal. Prices are reasonable for this option. Overall, a 4 score, but... More

Thank you to previous Trip Advisor reviews, we spent an excellent evening and ate very well. As soon as we entered the place, we felt the hospitality at Ristorante Tema! Unhurried, excellent service, an excellent wine list and world leading customer service. If you are visiting Roma, it is the place to go. The set menu are as good as... More

Well- I don't understand reviews of this restaurant.we not only had a very mediocre meal poorly presented and poorly waitered but it was very expensive for the kind of food. Look at other restaurants in the area- much better value and quality
