What a wonderful evening! Such a great way to wrap up my trip to Rome. I was traveling solo this holiday and always look for ways to make new friends. Barbara greeted me at the door with a smile that made me feel right at...home. Her home is warm, eclectic and has so much personality. The food was delicious! I was stuffed. Federica & Barbara were friendly and fun hosts. It was a joy to spend the evening with their family and friends. There was music and singing. Where do I even start!!!!! This was the highlight of our 9 day trip to Italy!!! I booked our reservation on EatWith and Federica and Barbara messaged me immediately. She answered any questions I had. I told her it was my friend's birthday and she...said they would make sure to make it special. As soon as you walk through the front door you're greeted as if they've known you for years. You get hugs you and a glass of wine and from that moment on the experience gets better and better. We had 23 people in our group and by the end of the night, it was like we were all besties and have been friends forever! On to the food!!!! Everything we had, and I mean EVERYTHING was just amazing!!!! We were able to watch her in the kitchen finishing off some of the dishes and for me that was a highlight in itself because I'm a home cook and I love being in the kitchen. Federica, Barbara, and her team went out of their way to make everyone feel at home and welcome. At the end of dinner, it was a few people's birthdays and anniversaries and as promised Federica and Barbara made it special for her guest. I am definitely planning on going back!!!More

This was like having dinner at your best friend’s house. Barbara greeted us at the door with a hug and handed us a wine glass and wrote our names on it. The wine began to flow and did not stop the entire evening. Members of...her family and friends were there during the cocktail hour and Italian music was playing in the background. It was so Italian. There were two tables set with the most eclectic dishes which added to the ambiance. The conversation was lively as each of the five or six courses were served. At the end of a delicious meal, the Prosecco and Limoncello were served and dancing and singing began. Around midnight, the party broke up and we all hugged goodbye. Barbara is such a warm and genuine hostess and made everyone feel so special. Do not miss this very fun experience.More

The food was excellent, did not leave a morsel. The wine flowed from our arrival till we left. We quickly found the group to sit with as we met everyone. Barbara had plenty of help so never felt like we were waiting to be served...the next course. My glass was always being filled with excellent wine. If you want to do something special this is it. I highly recommend doing this while in Rome.More
