We came to this cafe after visiting the colosseum. It was a very warm day so we didn't wander far and wanted some lunch and a drink. We were waiting a long time for any service and, as other have said, were sat very close to the bins with staff wandering past us constantly with bin bags full of waste.... More

This cafè is situated in an amazing place where you can directly see the colosseum and the fori imperiali. the aperitivo is average, the drinks also. I would only go there again for the view. plus, there is a road sign right between the seats and the colosseum which takes away some of the good view...it should me moved a... More

Right next to Colosseum is this café where we got a table outside. Our young waiter was very rude and arrogant from the beginning. We were not very hungry and ordered 2 beers, water and bruschetta, which he frowned upon like we didn't order enough in his opinion. The bruschetta (see picture) was a huge disappointment and not worth the... More

Popped in to grab a sandwich and a drink. Found a seat, waited a while to even get a menu. Then waited another while to get our order. Two sandwiches and two fruit smoothies. Waited even longer for just one sandwich to arrive and told the drinks were being made. Thst sandwich was ok, but not worth 5€. The second... More

I won't say much since we didn't really sit too long on this place, we had some food and that's all. Not expensive but for sure not tastier than other places. But worth just for the View

I cannot believe a business is allowed to stay open with toilets that dirty: feces and intense urine smell, flies... it was absolutely revolting. Coffee is overpriced and service not that great. On the other hand the views of the Colosseum are great but not good enough to put up with this pigsty.

We sat outside at this little cafe after a tour of the Domus Aurea, it is quite literally across the street from the Colosseum.

Toilets - nasty.... Food - pizza very nice but asking for a Panini and told to go inside choose something was not difficult. Inside told to go back to your table rudely and order food from your table started to become confusing. We got the drinks promptly and then waited, waited, tried to get attention, waiting to eventually put in... More

We sat down to have a drink, some dessert and espresso as the sun set and we were immediately informed that we had to pay for the buffet even if we only wanted a drink and to order something else from the menu. Next, we were ordered to pay as soon as our beers arrived at the table. No opportunity... More
