Great beer and a good vibe. Full of locals rather than tourists. Long list of unusual brews, some are very strong - didn't get to try a huge selection, however, Brewfist was hit. Definitely worth a visit if you like beer and mixing with the locals.

This place is very small and you could walk right past it if you didn't know it was there. A great selection of beers on tap and in bottles. If you like real ales and good beer it's definitely worth a visit, I was in heaven but be warned tho it doesn't sell anything other than beer no wine, no... More

Lots of beer here (and nothing else, Mrs C was not impressed) in this scruffy bar about the width of a couple of phoneboxes with distinctly uncomfortable back room and what we used to call a London garden - ie out on the street. As you might guess, beer oriented clientele (ie men of all ages but mostly younger), about... More

Amazing, cozy craft beer bar in the Trastevere area. Italian quality craft beers dominating the taps (doh!), they also have a over the top selection of bottles with more international choices. While I was here the had a beer on tap from small Swedish brewery Närke Kulturbryggeri, unexpected. The Italian brewed hoppy lager and wit-beer, was the perfect ending a... More

Loved this little pub, some great craft beers to be tried, nice and dingy and tight. Staff are very knowledgable and a great place to hang out for a few beers before going onwards. Go!

This is a hole in the wall, but is a great place for craft beer and to watch some Roma soccer. They had Cantillion on draft along with many Italian beers. They also had Cigar City Jai Alai on draft from the states. They have a very extensive vintage bottle list, so if you are really into craft beer or... More

This place is awesome. Great staff, great beer, great atmosphere and great locals. We ended up going three days in a row. A good mix of beer from across the globe with a selection of Italian crafts alongside big hitters from American Brewers such as stone and others from the UK such as Moor. Great to visit in the evening... More

This bar has a great choice of draft beer! However, they could offer more in terms of service. I tried to speak to the bartender about the beer they had, but he seemed disinterested. the bar across the street, owned by the same people had a larger variety and the staff seemed to care. I liked the bar, great setting!... More

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
