Restaurant presents well but food taste horrible......Waited 45 minutes for 2 plastas. Turns out not cook properly. plasta like chewing rubbers. 30 bucks for 2 plates of rubber.... not worth it. Too expensive for this quality food...

On our last night in Rome, we ate here for our daughter's birthday. (She & her husband had had drinks there the night before.) The food was mediocre to average, the service was poor, and the service charge, which was not listed anywhere, was exorbitant....More

I'm surprised to see such bad reviews for this place ... we visited here on the off chance, and both meals were very tasty well cooked and reasonably well priced. Lovely seating outside and nice relaxed atmosphere in the evening.

I echo everyone else about the service here, but the lasagna was out of this world. It took forever getting the check.

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
