The food was mediocre and I’m being quite generous. I’m not a picky eater either but I’ve had better food that was frozen and microwaved than this. I expect that from a microwave but not a restaurant claiming to be authentic Italian. The wait staff...More

Dino and Tony is no lacking personality! We found the restaurant by serendipity while walking away from the bustle of the Vatican. Dino invited us quite energetically to enter the establishment. Inside, a crowd of mostly locals, no so many tourists like the restaurants around...More

My family of five sat down, and Dino took over. We are up for authentic Italian, and he and Tony delivered. We just absolutely loved it. If you are willing to let go just a bit, do not miss this place!! It's quite an experience!!

A friend and I happened upon this restaurant after receiving a primer on trattorias and the like from a very nice chap who ran a day trip to Pompeii and Versuvius. With a fair amount of pluck and/or ignorance on our part and armed with...More

I would not normally say that about a place to which I only give three stars. That is because my wife and I loved everything about it except for the food. The service, the ambiance, the close interaction with locals eating here -- that is...More

I had no idea what to expect when entering here, but I am so glad my husband convinced me. There are no menus, and that is no problem. They delivered a five course authentic Italian meal that was out of this world! We loved it...More

Ring them and practise your Italian! Or just turn up early around 12.30pm. You should get a place at that time. We arrived at 12.30 and it started filling up from 1pm
