Based on a strong recommendation from our 5-star hotel, we visited this well established venue on the first night of our most recent trip. We know of many fine restaurants closer to our hotel, so I was a little skeptical about skipping them, but we are always willing to make a discovery. We were given a great table in the... More

Last minute booking, highly recommended by the staff at Fendi Suites. I'm not a seafood lover but I chose to come here because had a lot of meat and pastas for the past few days. Food was perfectly cooked. Had the vongole clams for starters, lobster linguine and salt baked sea bass. First of all i'm certain that the seafood... More

We are here for a special occasion our 25th silver wedding anniversary. It did not disappoint. We had the seabass baked in salt. Really outstanding however I would expect that at €100 for two. We had a bottle of primativo reserva €45 per bottle which was delicious. The desserts were well presentented tiramisu and chocolate pudding . Coffee to finish... More

Our concierge is friends with the owner, and this is where he goes for seafood. Our Servers name was Johnny, and he ordered for us - an amazing selection of raw and cooked seafood to start, then homemade pasta and seafood for mains - it was incredible. I don't get the other reviews, the service was perfect for a nice... More

I was recommended the restaurant for a romantic dinner It does have a nice courtyard for outside sitting. I was not thrilled with the food and the food was ok. What was not professional was the service which was not attentive at all

This elegant restaurant is situated in an important residential area to the north of Villa Borghese called Parioli, (non touristy at all). The place is charming especially in the summer when you can dine in a court yard with candle lights. The service is very professional and delicate. The maitre Gianni can guide you throughout the dinner, we absolutely enjoyed... More

Excellent dishes, wine, friendly and professional service. Highly recommend. Best romantic evening in Roma. Tartare, pasta vongole and frittura mixta.

We were at our hotel and related that we had been to two seafood restaurants in Rome and could not decide to which one to go back to. We were directed to this restaurant, with the feeling that this could not be as good as the other restaurants. We were wrong--loved everything about it--

All the staff was exceptional. Bus service and waiter was unusual. He made face and suggestions that he thought I would like. It was fun and the food was very good. You dine on a terrace above a residential street. Go you should visit.

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
