Found it accidently on arrival in Rome while looking for our hotel. Decided to return the next night. Food was great & reasonably priced. For dessert try their lemon sorbet. It's different from what you would usually expect!

My mark is 3.5. We came here on the evening of Christmas eve. We knew the place would be busy but we weren't expecting it to be so packed. There were various groups both Romans and foreigners and it was quite noisy but that wasn't a huge problem for us. The service was very good at the beginning but things... More

Went here on our first evening. We were drawn in by a woman host who was very mother like and welcoming. With 2 young boys in tow we were seated. A nice and calm place with great delights. My partner had basil pasta and means my son went for Margherita pizza. We was not disappointed. Fresh tasting with fresh ingredients... More

Great and not-so-common recipes. Some with origibnal and striking presentations and allways a nice, homey feel about them. Fine choice of wines and OK service; all this for a budget.

A wonderful surprise considering the current TripAdvisor rating. Food was excellent and so was the service. The place is also very nice and clean.

A friend and I headed out to a restaurant that ended up being closed - tired and starving, we asked our hotel staff for advice on nearby places with great food. This is where they sent us - and they did not disappoint. The house wine was delicious, and we both ordered a pizza and somehow devoured both. The atmosphere... More

We came here for dinner in the first evening of our stays in Rome, because it is right opposite the hotel and served Pizza Napoletana. We ordered the Calzone Farcito, a folder pizza stuffered with ham, mozzarella and artichole. and a Ortolana topped with mixed vegetable. The pizza were quite lighthearted with a thin crispy crust even though the portion... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
