This restaurant is very good, the service is very good. The waiters were attentive and they even had a lady who spoke english well to take your order and explain the dishes of food being served. I had fried shrimp and salad. It was prepared like cantonese shrimp.

This was my favorite meal in Italy. We sat outside and they had great music playing all night (George Michael, Sting, etc.). The wine steward recommended a different bottle of wine from my guess in the dark selection, and it was so light and refreshing on a warm evening that even the non-wine drinkers at the table were drinking it.... We ate here twice in our three night stay as it was just down the road from our hotel. The food is really nice and fairly priced with a very extensive menu. The service is good.

Our B&B was located in the same street (Via Volturno) and this restaurant was in the corner, very handy! The food is good, the price is fair and the staff is really nice.... The wines are not very good, but it's ok. The location is very central, near the train station...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
