when you come to Rome and you're tourist, you're likely to end up in paying a lot and eating junk food. Torquati is different. It's not in downtown, but it's very easy to reach...Underground station Colli Albani and 5 minutes walking. Food is great: meat in particular (lamb, veal, beef), but pasta as well since the lady (owner od the... More

Amazing restaurant, so good we went twice in the 4 days we stayed in Rome. Incredibly friendly staff, I fell ill during our first visit and had to leave, however after having had a bite I wanted to return as as soon as got better. When we returned the owner immediately came over asking how I felt which was really... More

We arrived early and were welcomed warmly by all the staff, although only 2 spoke pigeon English. This restaurant has a real homely feel about it and the menu reflects this but with the addition of some fantastic steaks. Buy by the weight and cut, the Danish steak was a first for me and was absolutely brilliant. Start with the... More

Due to the fact that we weren't locals, we asked for the stuff's recommendation. Salvadore suggested their beef steak. We took his word and we ended up eating an incredible and huge beef steak. Their house wine was also very good. After the first bottle, we received another one, compliments of the house. The stuff was very helpful and attentive.... More

The tastes aren't bad but some side effects made my visit there not very pleasant: - the restaurant hasn't any real option for children; - the meat was good but, hey, they brought me no meat knife and it was not served on hot stone as advertised; - the waiter simply wasn't kind.

We went in one night at the dinner, after we reccomended our host from Rome Guest Suite where we stood and we eat beef. It was great and also the price was in medium and was spectacular the dishes. They also provide us with little "stuzzichini". Thank you guys.

Hello, we came to this restaurant wandering the street of downtown. And it is true you eat well and savor the real taste of real Italian cuisine. Especially the carbonara you may say makes the lady of the house with a secret method. There is a bit 'of confusion if you do not book but that's okay. Then why do... More

Good food, although bread could have better on the night. The patron is well worth befriending, and take their advice on specials including wine

This is one of the few restaurants in Rome where you can actually eat a good steak. I come here regularly, about twice a month, usually with friends. service is very friendly. It is usually very busy so do make reservations. The only draw-back is that they have trouble cooking the steak for the right amount of time if you're... More
