This place was recommended to use by my sister-in-law who visits Italy often. It is in a neighborhood of windy streets but worth the exploration. We went on a Thur. afternoon at about 1:30 pm and were seated right away. The menu is fairly typical Italian with varieties of pasta, meat and fish dishes. We had a tagliatelle with "fruti... More

Surprise how food turn out to be great, i have called around and found a lot of places to be full, until I ended up with Costanza, I was expecting less than stellar food, but was wrong. Suckling pig was excellent, pasta cooked to perfection.

The quality of the meal and the exceptional service would be reason enough for a perfect rating but the location within the ruins of pompeys theater really made this an unforgettable experience. The tenderloin was Probably the best beef we had in Italy during our trip.

Food was really good, but what gave it 5 stars was the service and location. Having dinner in the ruins of the Pompi theater was a lot of fun. Our waiter was very charming, and was our favorite waiter we had at any of our meals in Italy.

Very unique and romantic dinner venue. The pasta was outstanding and service was excellent. The lamb was not good but everything else was delicious - especially the lemon sorbet - it was the best we've ever had. The prices were fair for the area.

Our wonderful landlady booked this restaurant for us. She said it was her favourit and that we would get good service. She was not wrong! Thunder and lightning and torrential rain did not dampen the welcome. Starters of fried zuchini flower and artichoke alla romano were to die for. The main dish was also superb whilst the creme brulee was... More

Dinner started out great, seated right away in a very cute back room. So many dishes sounds good and the waiter helped us choose. We had already had some drinks, so we passed when they asked if we wanted wine. With our first course (sausage and truffle with rigatoni, very good), they once again asked if we wanted wine and... This restaurant was recommended by the reception team at our hotel and the service & food was excellent. Great choice of fresh fish and lovely desserts. It is set back from the main road but well worth looking for it. It is bigger inside that it looks from the outside. Well worth a visit
