Have eaten lunch here now twice in 2 recent trips to Rome. I was brought by a local resident I was visiting as he said they use this restaurant often for business. Definitely seems to not be very touristy, but rather frequented more by locals. Will definitely be back again for lunch and want to try dinner as well, The... More

Perfect for a casual dinner with family or coworkers - not nice enough for clients. Great service, good Italian food. The pizzas are about 10 Euros and are enough for a meal (individual pizzas). Lasagna (pictured) was good. It's the first time I had tiramisu outside the us. Worth the calories. Ask the waiter for wine recommendations. He suggested a... More

We were exhausted from our overnight flight from the US, so our hotel (Deko Rome - near the US Embassy) recommended Pizzeria San Marco nearby for lunch. The menu is gargantuan! Since we were looking for local food, we chose the spinach and cheese calzone and a prosciutto pizza. Each were excellent along with a bottle of aqua frizzante. We... More

7 adults on a Monday night. We were in town for 2 nights. Our VRBO landlord suggested we eat here. The San Remo salad was just rabbit food. It contained rocket, cheap greens, artichokes and sweet corn. The only thing good about the salad, and it was unanimous, was the corn. There was barely any dressing on it, hense the... More

Dined here after a long day of travel. We all ordered salad, pizza, wine/beer. The food was fresh and good. The service was very fast. There were couples and families eating here. Ambience was casual and friendly (one family was playing cards at the next table while they ate). It is a more modern decor with indoor and outdoor seating.

We dined here on a Sunday afternoon when several other choices were closed. We were seated promptly and staff was courteous and efficient. Contemporary decor and noise level ok. Calamari starter was quite good as was the salad and pizza. Good menu selections.

Affordable prices on huge servings of delicious food! We shared a grilled sea food platter for two for a dinner and it was yummy! Freshly made gnocchi melt in your mouth! The pizza was good (but not the best). Service was a bit slow at times.

This was a short walk from our hotel near the Borghese gardens. We each enjoyed the pizzas we order - four cheeses and then bacon, onion, mozzarella on another. Good service. We sat outside on a covered patio that was street side. The place had a steady stream of customers.

Lovely thin crust pizzas plus shoulder blankets for all visitors who want to sit outside even with heaters. Large place with attentive staff.

We ate outside on a beautiful evening although the inside dining was very inviting.. Highly recommend the Osso Buco. It was tasty and not buried in sauce. The Fiore Zucca and arancino appetizers very good. We finished with gelato, cappuccino and limoncello. Good food at a very reasonable price.

Thank dandifer

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
