Came here for dinner last night at the suggestion of our hotel staff. It was a short walk from our hotel, so it was perfect after a long day travelling. The restaurant is quite large and has indoor and outdoor seating. It has AC inside. We chose to sit inside coz there is no smoking inside. Our waiter was very... More

Pizza was done with very low produce, too thin and tasteless. The waiter seemed to be upset with everyone, we felt like we need to leave asap. I would not recommend to anyone.

This restaurant has the best risotto scampi ever and this isn't easy to find. The interiors of the restaurant are really nice and the waiter who served us on both occasions was great and accommodating. He knew what to recommend based on our tastes and did a good job. He was jokingly complaining how our much food our group could... More

The hotel recommended as a place we could watch the start of the premier league. We also ate lunch and the food was of great quality with really friendly service. My son had the pizza cooked in a wood fired oven and claimed it one of the best he has had. Only disappointment was the tiramisu, nothing wrong with it... More

Convenient lunch near our hotel, food was good quality and we tried a variety of pizza, pasta and burgers which were all good Bruschetta was really tasty, as are the courgette fries! Definitely one of the best options for lunch in the area

Incredible pizza. Slightly pricey, but well worth it. Some of the best pizza in rome. The ambiance is nothing special. Be aware that the bread they bring to the table automatically they will charge for. Overall would 100% recommend based on quality of the food.

We went here on the suggestion of the Hotel we were staying at. We sat inside in a quiet corner, enjoyed two huge pizzas, nice beer and red wine and a wonderful lemon sorbet dessert. The service was excellent and the prices good.

Recommended by our driver. Great place! The pizza was wonderful, the wine chosen by the waiter was delicious, and the dessert rounded out the meal wonderfully. Great attentive service but not over bearing. Great service all around. And this was only lunch. Fantastic find!

Our Airbnb host "Fransesco" recommended San Marco to us. Just down the street from our apartment. We has pizza and appetizers. For our first taste of Rome it hit the spot!! The pizza was excellent the caprese salad and the rest of our dishes all were outstanding.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
