I visited this place twice during my stay in Rome. The food was great, both pasta and lasagne and great wine too. Service is satisfactory but we weren't rushed to vacate our table. Locals use this place and recommend it too, I'd recommend this place also.

went there last week . service was awful and food mediocre. Waiter acted as if we were bothering him. He served those on either side numerous times without even acknowledging our presence

We were lucky enough to have friends from Rome who suggested we had dinner at San Marco. They were right and we were wise enough to listen to them :) The restaurant is rather big but because of the layout whenever you are seated it feels cozy and nice. The menu is very extensive and i guess it covers almost... More

Although this place is just around the corner from where I live, this was the first time I have eaten here. I wanted a place where I could get a real Roman-style pizza with that wonderful cracker-thin crust. They did not disappoint me. The pizza crust, which you can watch them make, was thin and it had a nice consistency.... More

Recommended by our hotel. We ate here twice on a four night stay in Rome and should have had at least another meal here. Food gorgeous. Big selection of pizza. . All thin crusted with delicious toppings and fresh ingredients. Cooked beautifully. Tried the rice balls and they were mouth-wateringly good. My kids loved the potato croquettes . Great wine... Nice setting, great menu, friendly staff, prompt service. Our food was really good. Wish I'd found this before our last day.

We ate here three times during our stay in Rome. It was that good! Right around the corner from our hotel, it was a great place that is always open. We tried appetizers, pizza, pasta, wine, dessert. Huge menu. Everything was delicious. Service was great and it was always busy. Lots of locals eating here as well.

We were referred to this restaurant by our hotel. On the plus side, the food was excellent. We had your typical Italian thin crust pizza and a bottle of red wine. On the down side, the service was lacking. Our waiter seemed uninterested in serving us, it took a while to receive our wine, and other tables were served and... More

I have visited their other place in Rome and enjoyed it years ago. This time we were staying nearby, so easy choice. Friendly atmossphere and staff. Tasty pizza. Whats not to like? I could come back.

Both my wife and I chose this as the restaurant for our last night in Italy. The menu was extensive and had variety. We ordered our meals and drinks, we had to pause a while so the waiter taking our order could have a conversation with what seemed the owner/manager, this we found very unprofessional. All that aside, we waited... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
