We both arrived to a hotel a walk away and was looking for a quick bite to eat! We came across this place and couldn't resist the cosy outside patio area. We both had a Red pizza :) it was the best pizza we have had!!....what an amazing start to Italian food. I had to make my partner leave as... More

Situated just around the corner from our Hotel - Villa Pinciana - we ate here as a family group more nights than not and were never disappointed. We particularly enjoyed eating on the small outside terrace. I have to say that the Service was absolutely first class and the Staff really added to the whole dining experience. The food however... A very extensive menu and everything we tried was amazing. Wish we had had room for dessert. Try the arrancini! The sea bass grilled. The seafood risotto. All really great. Nice venue, very large. This one we will return to when we are lucky enough to visit Roma again.

We came here for our first meal in Rome. This was right down the street from the Marriott so after we checked in we came here for lunch. This was our very first meal in Italy so we were pretty excited and were not let down. We got here around 2pm so there wasn't much of a crowd. We started... More

Hidden out of the way, we had a waiter that made the evening. The bruschetta, the pizza and the calzone, along with the open air sitting on the street, was a great satisfying evening for the family and gave us time just to relax and share our thoughts on the day.

This is an attractive, modern restaurant with attentive staff and plenty of outdoor seating in a quiet position. We had pastas and salad and all were very good if not particularly special. The house white wine is a good option. There are plenty of food options including sushi at the sister restaurant next door.

My wife and I plus another traveling couple visited Rome early in September 2016. We stayed at the Hotel Golden and this restaurant was recommended. To keep this review short and sweet, we had previously tried several other restaurants and found this one to not only have the best pizza but also the best lasagna. This information comes from individuals... More

We happened upon San Marco on our last night in Rome. We stopped in for a snack since we missed lunch that day. We ordered salads...a huge selection which they will tweak if you wish. We all split a delicious pizza. I really wish we'd found this place earlier. The patio is where we were seated. However, on my way... More

Very nice decor and close by to our hotel. The food was good and staff friendly. Pizza price €10-15.

Just went to this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday. The waiters were great preparing a birthday panna cotta for her. Food was amazing. The grilled galetto is worth 5 stars. Price is fair.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
