Best pasta I’ve yet to taste. Service was excellent. Highly recommend the sea bass pasta. Great choice of wines and beer. Also bring bread and olives to your table.

I ordered a truffle crostino with pecorino cheese for a starter, and the number of truffles on the shaved on it was absolutely huge, easily $40 in the US. The cheese was warm and melted, with the rich truffle flavor. I had the la matriciana...More
This place felt like a proper Italian restaurant rather than for tourists - I think we were the only non - Italians in there! We ate there by chance as nothing else in the area was open on a Sunday evening, and were lucky to...More
Very smart restaurant opposite the opera theatre. Arrived late but staff very accommodating. Lovely and elegantly traditional decor. Starter for me was rocket tomatoes and scallops. Fantastic. Next creamed prawn risotto. Even more fantastic. Olives and bread, great double expresso and a aperol spritz. One...More

This is an historical restaurant of Rome You can feel the Roman climate in a simple but nice location and enjoy a good service I had the bucatini alla matriciana that is the most popular dish of the restaurant and they are delicious
This was one of the best restaurants i enjoyed the food. We had dinner here 2 days in a row. Everything was great! From seafood pasta to bruschetta (seafood bruschetta to die for), to beef in a lemon souse. Yes, beef in a lemon (citrus)...More
Excellent atmosphere (the owner and the waiter SEBASTIANO were super friendly!), delicious pasta (I ate the pasta of the house - bucatini alla Matriciana, but Ravioli and Carbonara are excellent too). The desert “pera con ciocollato belga” was really tasteful! Just steps from our hotel.
A very nice hotel, close to the Opera. It's usually full, so book in advance. The food is very very good and beautifully presented. Try the house red wine and the great variety of salads. Also a soup.
