Just returned from Rome and a four day post-Oceania cruise, which set a high bar for culinary expectations ashore. As this might be our only trip to Rome for years to come (too many other places to visit), I spent a lot of time cross...More

We ate lunch here today and enjoyed the air conditioned "gazebo" space looking out over the city. I expected the food might be mediocre, since it is really the setting that attracts people and there are plenty of tourists in this area of the city...More

We stopped at the Ciampini for a light dinner, and ordered pizza. It was just right - crispy, light on the cheese, big enough to share. Nice service.

Family stopped for light lunch on a hot summer day. Light fare from starter menu was plenty and excellent. We had Salmon, Caesar Salad with Chicken, Foie Gras and Mussels and Clams, all wonderful.

Good selection of foods and drinks. The wine was great and the price was about average for any Italian food place like it. It was a nice sidewalk atmosphere with little tables and and coverings a very romantic setting.

Love eating in the "garden". Nice respite from bustle of Rome. English menu and English speaking waiters. Food is very good but priced to reflect tourist area.

best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a
