Had a blast here! Staff is great at recommending beer choices for all palettes. Great ambience, great music, food looked good (we only had suppli) and we'd definitely go back again! Fun, trendy place for a drink with friends. Loved it.

Visited here as I had resourced it as a good beer bar, it certainly is with around 20 draft beers. However we were very disappointed that we waited in total 15 mins to get beers ordered and served standing at the bar. Far more priority seems to be given to the serving staff serving the tables. However this was counterproductive,... More

This place is rubbish. Maybe it's under new management. Burger was not cooked and lazy staff. I have friends that have been and raved about this place but I found it total rubbish. The staff could be more disinterested and the food wasnt safe to eat. Raw burger pattie was red in the middle. Its located in an area where... More

If you are looking for a cold beer on a hot roman day this is the place to go. They have probably 40 beers on tap. I walked in for just a beer and ended up eating after the 3rd ale in. The food was tasty, worth a visit.

This is a beer lovers paradise. Great beer with great food. Not a bottle of wine to be seen amongst this enthusiastic crowd of Romes drinking classes. Loved sitting up at the bar with 30 fonts selling beer on tap ranging from 4% to 13% ABV If only there were bars like this in London All beers regardless of strength... More

If you want a Bud, try some other place around! But, Italian beer craftmanship has high standards and Bir&Fud proudly presents pearls of it. Elvo, from the northern Piemonte, being one of its bests. It's pils is superb, but there were a couple of dozens of other taps to try, too.

Have a Latvian friend here in Rome for an exchange and I decided to go there for a pizza and a good beer after at least 6 years. All our expectations were confirmed and satisfied. Beers are from top and on rotation every week. We chose a calzone Porco Pistacchio (a sort of double pizza stuffed with mozzarella, cherry tomatoes... More

Large selection of beer when you want a change from wine. Waiter made very good selection of beer for us based on our taste. Very relaxing late lunch at the tables outside. Met some other tourist there and some friendly locals. The pizza was very good.

We went here for a few drinks after dinner. A nice long bar with many, many craft and local beers. Great service from the staff.

Craft beer wasn't really something I expected to find in Rome, but Bir & Fud had some really nice offerings. It's a sort of warmly-lit cave-like environment and the service was prompt and friendly. The bartender seemed happy to talk about the various beers on offer.

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
