Went here for dinner on a Saturday night, on recommendation of front of house at Milton Roma hotel. A little tucked away, close to Colosseum this should be far busier than the tourist traps nearby! We went for steaks - I had in mushroom sauce and the meat was very good and plenty of it too. My teenage son had... More

We visited as a family back in December and it was average at best. We didn't find the staff very polite and food wasn't that great, portions were quite small too. This was the first place we visited on our holiday and we were given tap water and bread at the start with out asking then found out upon receiving... More

Excellent menu. Ate here twice when we spent a week in Rome last month. Isadoro vongole gorgeous. Lovely house wine also. They do a pasta tasting menu as well, but we preferred the food when we chose from the menu, however I can see there are a lot of good reviews from other visitors about the pasta tasting menu.

Isidoro was recommended to us by our hotel and it did not disappoint. Outstanding service and remarkable fresh food. Everything is locally sourced and is prepared perfectly.

My family of four (two pre-teens) had planned to eat here once during our recent visit to Rome - we ended up changing our plans, and ate dinner here twice and lunch once. Our first night, we shared the meat/cheese platter appetizer and then the assaggio of pasta - course after course of pasta until we were full. All were... More

Restaurant not far from Colloseum, a bit hidden, since it does not have tables on the street. Actually it was the best food we tried in Rome, my seafood pasta was excellent, truly al dente, extremely tasty. Also my friends were very happy with their pasta and risotto. Professional service, nice interior. Recommended.

Recommended to us by a dentist after an unexpected holiday visit, this place is worth the trip! Great wine list, helpful staff and tasty food. They have a menu (part of their overall menu) where you can just get them to bring out dish after dish of pasta until you're full and each dish was really tasty! For €15 each,... More

We were recommended to visit this restaurant by our hotel, I am so glad we did. It isn't too far from the colosseum but you avoid being surrounded by loads of tourists. It's on a quaint little back street and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxing. But most of all THE FOOD!! The food was gorgeous!

Our hotel staff recommended the restaurant for dinner. The mozzarella and tomato salad was delicious and enough to share. My husband and I had the pasta tasting as this was a new concept for us. We had four serving which was one serving too many. The only one we didn't like was the last one with artichoke. Service was good... More

Ordered spaghetti ragu (Bolognese) as it was one of the specials that day. It was disgusting. Tasted worse than a microwaveable meal. Would never go here again and would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Service was OK but we had to walk up to pay because no one came to our table. It definitely isn't a four star restaurant!

Description
Sidoro is very famous for its "taste" of pasta, a tasting pasta dishes selected by the chef. So you can enjoy, in addition to classic early Romans as bucatini or spaghetti alla Carbonara Amatriciana, our classics of all time and our news accompanied by fine wines. 3 The daily arrivals of fresh fish, meat of first quality and excellent desserts made by our pastry chefs greatly enrich the proposal of our local.
