On a weekend break stumbled across this gem a few streets away from the Rome Times Hotel. Pleasant staff, super food and a great atmosphere with locals and tourists heading in nightly. There's a pleasant garden area out the back which would be amazing in summer. The antipasti platter for two was divine I'm still dreaming about it. Veal, Pizza,... More

Lovely garden seating area. Had lunch here on the first day. As we are not using to the multiple courses italians eat, we just wanted a main course so both had pasta dishes and a drink each. There was a bit push to have a starter - had to listen to a long description of the starter special, same for... More

I came back for the second time in this restaurant with my family. All good was very good. Special pasta was " carbonara". Local nice and clean. Service friendly, my best smile for Dory🤗.

This restaurant was very near our hotel, it looks small from the street but has rooms further in and is very rustic. The food was very tasty, they do a smaller bottle of wine, just enough for two people for 10 euros, great value! There is a girl who serves, didn't get her name, but she was so lovely and... More

After an evening wandering, we found this little place in a small side street and so pleased we did. The pasta was first rate, as you'd expect, and the mains of lamb chops and steak strips with mushrooms were superb. The gentleman serving us was very attentive and amusing. I recommend this restaurant highly

We went here to have a dinner and were not disappointed! A cosy place with attentive waiters and delicious food! Pasta was nice, the plate with prosciutto and cheese was awesome! Totally recommend!

We were 2 couples on our 4th day in Rome. I decided we should look for restaurants on side-way streets, the places where locals eat. Not far from the Colosseum (historical corect name is Flavian Amphitheatre), so it is close to the tourist areas, we saw a place that fit the description from street view, and when we saw it... What stands out about this place is how friendly the staff are and what good value the food is. It's only 10 mins walk from the major tourist hotspots but a world away in terms of the authenticity it provides. While we were there, there was a real mixture of locals and tourists and the staff treated all equally. Certainly... More

Wine tasted like apple juice! Pasta with mushrooms was like mushroom soup from a can. Service seemed to want to get the meal out of the way, started to clear the plates whilst some of us were still eating. Expensive for what was rather poor

Thank Stephen H
