The Library will forever be ingrained in my memory, as this is the place that I said yes to my best friend. Everything about this place was so magical, so special, that I couldn't have imagined getting engaged anywhere else. Completely lit by candlelight, The Library is the stuff off movies. To top it off our food was phenomenal and... More

We went here based on a recommendation from a friend and based on the mostly positive reviews we saw on here, we gave it a shot since it was only a few blocks from our place. Unfortunately, we were sadly disappointed. We were a bit worried right from the start as we were literally the only people in the restaurant... More

Dear Brian, I apologize for your recent experience, unfortunately we had given the management of the place to a person which did not take care of the customers and did not fulfill the expectation. He has been removed from his place and we have now since Saturday a completely new management. I can only apologize for what has happened. Thank... More

This was our second of three nights in Rome and we were looking for a romantic dining experience in the center city area. Based on the reviews this looked perfect, however, our experience was very far from that. The venue is as described in the reviews - very romantic, dark, and tucked away in a hard to find alley. It... More

Dear simon, thank you for taking time to share your experience with us, it has been for us very helpful. We had placed a manager there whom was very skilled to make appear to us that everything was perfect, but infact was absolutely a disaster. I can only apologize for your experience, you can understand why he wanted only cash.... More

We were promptly helped by the server Alexa who was incredible! The food was the best we had in Italy and we were served complimentary prosecco when we arrived and sorbet when we left. Alexa was the friendliest server and very attentive. She even helped direct us on our next excursion. This place was recommended to us by a friend... More

We had made a booking weeks in advance and were looking forward to it. We arrived and were immediately seated by the friendly staff. It was a Wednesday and there were only one other couple in the room, great for a private dinner! However, there was no A/C and we just could not handle the heat. (it was 30-35 degrees... More

On tour in Italy we had dinner in this restaurant with 5. Very touristic and pushing, especially with wine. It's very unpleasant if they turn up every few minutes. The food was o.k. but portions small. All 5 of us were disappointed and they didn't care.

We had read about the restaurant on TripAdvisor and decided to try it out. We were definetly not disappointed! The atmosphere was very romantic, the food was absolutely delicious and our waitress was very nice and helpfull. Would definetly recommend this romantic and cosy restaurant. The price was in order with the quality of the food so no complaints there!

We booked in to The Library for our 10th wedding anniversary meal as it is supposed to be amazing - it was in fact the worst meal we have had during our trip to Rome, the waitress couldn't have been any less interested, the food was over cooked and overpriced - we paid over €130 for pork loin and steak... It has been almost 11 months since we were in Rome for my 60th birthday. We had no specific dining plans and checked out Trip Advisor for some ideas. I kept coming back to this restaurant so we called and on such short otice were very lucky to get a table. When we arrived, there were all kinds of staff... More

The menu is small. The food is tasty. Chadi (spelling?) is the manager and extremely service oriented and charming to get to know.
